It is sad how people discredit Miller as some kind of white-hooded Red Green Show-watching Mussolini, when he is and has been about as Libertarian as you can get.
@uk6strings Exactly. Watch his HBO specials. Those feelings have always been there. Just with his radio show and appearances on Fox he focuses more on the political side of things. Dennis Miller Live was one of the best talk shows ever. If nothing else, it was uncensored and had a point to it.
Politics are an area of great naivety. Hollywood and practically every media, basically shunt everyone away from conservatism out of fear of them actually finding out what it is about. Liberalism pretty much abolishes any chances your average American ever has at reaching an equivalent social status as celebrities, the fact that there are people like Donald Trump and Bill Gates out there makes them sick.

I think the temperature in the room dropped when Jon Stewart said "get to the question". Just goes to show you Jon Stewart was too big for his britches before he even put them on.
Hey guess everything worked out for Stewart and that little cable non network thingy he was doin...what's it called? The Daily Show? i think i heard of it. but where is kilborn?????
Dennis Miller has so much fucking potential to be amazing but I feel like since becoming or showing a more hawkish right wing stance he has lost sight of what's really important. He can be really funny but his talent has wasted a tad
He may be wasting his potential a little bit, but the benefits are super. It's very much like teaching in a bad school district. They need good teachers so badly, that they'll pay for your college and give you a free apartment. Conservatives need funny people so badly within their ranks that they pay the big bucks to the few they actually can get.
Uh okay its not a sell out to embrace liberalism but it is to embrace conservatism, bunch of hypocrites. Its not selling out to do what you like, or believe in, it is to go against your beliefs to make money, and seeing as how Jon Stewart is so adamant about what he says, and Dennis Miller about what he himself says, it is illogical to call either one of them a sell out. Just because you don't like what someone has to say doesn't automatically merit "sell out" status.
@MusicJew158 I agree. I actually called his radio show a week ago and he refused to answer my question. I am a Democrat and he's a Republican and he would not even take a call from a young viewer. It really pissed me off. I did like DML. Were you a fan of this talk show?
Jon's just outright hilarious! He's pretty open and honest all the time, but it seems that he feels even more liberated whenenver he's on HBO, because he just goes all out on the swearing...I love it! :)
