Some of you guys are taking this booth review way too seriously. Nutn was just kidding around. I don't think David was offended at all--he's just not quite as sarcastic as some. I doubt he lost any sleep over it.

If you add up all those small fortunes, then it wouldn't seem like they'd have any money left for R&D and innovative designs, which is what I thought made this company popular to begin with? The best way to maintain an image is with awesome products. Shiny pictures and fancy logos are nice, but me thinks this guy went a bit overboard.
Thanks for the video, I was keen to see it and do appreciate it. I would have enjoyed it more if you listened more and did less interrupting and talking over the top of David while he was trying to speak.
My preon 2 was always turning on in my pocket so i removed the hard cap clicker and now its great what they have to do it put a stiffer spring in the clicker
Nutn, thanks for bringing up the point about the Preon turning on the pocket. I am always checking to see if its on almost anywhere I carry it. Maybe just a replacement recessed button could be maybe available for all of us. I would pay a few bucks to get a better switch.
Hey Nutn, i think i speak for most true TNPers when i say:" PLEASE do a 4(Four)Sevens Preon 0-SS duracoated TNP special edition.....". It looks like an awsome little light and with the 24.99$ price tag it seems to be a great option to always carry some usefull "TNP awsomeness" around with you ! Specifically for your Non-US TNPers who might encounter some difficulty carrying and/or owning anything gun related.
This guy is a genius and makes great products, but he really needs to let someone else assist with the booth. If he doesnt seem excited about his products, why should i be?
David needs to make a scout light or SF E series size light that has a single 200 lumen throw (so no high lo, multi mode) for us folks wanted one for weapon. I'll probably buy at least 4 for weapon mount use.

Love the booth reviews but please stop interrupting! David was a real trooper for not getting pissed off. Aside from being distracted by Nutn, FOURSEVENS was still impressive.
meh people are crapping about lack of products, but theres only so many different products that you can make. nutnfancy might want more products (i do too) but no-one knows what to make. if he designed a dozen or so new revolutionary class leading lights for 2012, im sure 4sevens would be happy to build a few. . .

@QuiksiIver the mini line is regulated. if it has multi-mode it'll be regulated. my mini 123 does 200 lumens for 1 hr solid, if thats unregulated then regulation appears to have no affect on runtime, as a 6px does 200 lumens for 2 hours and has 2 cells
I usually look to see if the light driver can handle more/less volts. I don't think the Mini line can handle rechargeable batteries due to higher voltage. Thats what I mean by unregulated ...
For instance, some of the smaller AAA lights can only support alkaline due to lithium being higher voltage. What typically happens on higher voltage is it burns brighter and burns out faster ... a regulated light goes for longer on lithiums at same bright.

New logo is poorly designed; would not have associated it with the 4Sevens company or its products until someone had explained the logo to me. That = Fail for a marketing logo.

I guess the mini would be slightly narrower, but not much shorter. A longer runtime from two batteries and a twistie would be kind cool though. Id buy one haha. Foursevens, please make a titanium mini 123 with the neutral white led. Love mine, just wish it was neutral white like my neutral mini I got.
Whats talked about at SHOT is not the end all end all. 2012 can still bring us plenty of goodies. Remember 4sevens still strives to be ahead of the game, and Im sure we will see new led choices as well as them refining current products throughout 2012.
Love foursevens lights, but its really disapointing they decided to focus/invest in branding over the past year, rather than develop new lights for us to buy. New product of one little key chain light, whistles and a pen. Now I have to shop elsewhere for my flashight fix. Oh well...
Why don't they design more of the tiny lights to clip to the bill of you baseball cap. I noticed my AAA lights have pocket clips that are not reversible and are mounted light down. If they would design them to be "light up" (or reversible like knife clips) I could use them on my cap for hands free use.
A branding consultant who tells you to throw away your accumulated good will and brand recognition is doing the opposite of their job. Qwikster style fail.

I don't lend my pens out nearly as often as I use them myself. So now, 98% of the time I have to find somewhere to put the cap while I'm using it. Thumbs down. I also don't like pens with caps. Too much effort to use.
The only slightly exciting (new) thing here is the P0 key-chain light. I'm not sure how excited I am about having a strong magnet in my pocket, though. I understand the potential uses for a magnet, but I wish they offered a magnet-free version.
@curdit9 with enough heat you can permanently neutralize a magnet, so if it is really a problem for you, just heat that sucker until it glows (or whatever temp a neo magnet needs to be permanently neutralized). Or you could try to remove it.

Absolutely love FourSevens. I own many of their lights including the Turbo X. I think you may find a few things to dislike about that light however as I know I did (useless pocket clip being one of them). Great video very entertaining!
First of all, I love FourSevens.....my EDC light is a mini123.....but feel a little let down after the booth review. Doesn't look like they really have anything new, other than a keychain light....a $200 pen...and a $2500 mega LED. Hopefully 2012 will be full of more useful products. Again..I love FourSevens....cool new branding...great products..I'll continue to buy their stuff....just looking for more innovation in the future. Thanks for the review, Nutn!
Nutnfancy, I have a turbo x, it kicks ass. If you get one, you will love it. Also when David pointed out how the logo makes the 4 and 7 my mind was blown! That is a sweet new logo.
you know i'm glad to hear that your concerned about Packaging Nutnfancy! Because although i'm totally a GTF'r (gun toting freak) haha I still get worried about all the damn plastic and garbage that we make and then spread everywhere!! EVERYTIME I go out and shoot in the desert I see human impact and it's usually plastic garbage! Tons of plastic and packages and I hate it! It ruins the outdoor experience and it only gets worse it seems! and I can only pick up so much! So thanks for speaking up!!

I think David did well. What people need to keep in mind here is that shot show is not for the general public(end user). The re-branding of a company is very common in the retail world and often necessary for growing brands such as four-sevens. I've worked in retail my whole life, and guess what. New customers are generally attracted to a quality presentation. This company has proven itself as a quality brand that is driven by customers. There is nothing wrong with getting you're name out there
I have a quark 123x2 tactical and reversed the pocket clip and put it on the bill of my cap for a head lamp. You can not do this with a fenix pd30. The body needs to be a little longer so I can use a 17670 in it. I have a quark 123x2 tubo x and the17670 will work in it. I have bought these lights becuse of Nutnfancy reviews showing durability and versatily.
Wasn't really a fan of this guy. Why are you spending half the video talking about your new logo? I saw it on the center of the table.... oh wow they have a new logo. Cool. Enough said. The guy to his right JIMMY should have done it. He was cool. Cool products but be product and customer centered not marketing and more corporate style. @runngunr21 David is a great guy. He's actively on candlepowerforums answering questions and giving out info on new products as the info becomes available. The only real reason the lights weren't touched on much is because most of them have full reviews already and all have been discussed in the 2011 SHOT vid that weren't shown in this one.
Seemed like chow just wanted to let us know that they spent a lot of money on branding and less on quality product. We get it, you rebranded but talk about the new lights or what is planned for future

Renaming their products is annoying.
New logo is poorly designed; would not have associated it with the 4Sevens company or its products until someone had explained the logo to me. That = Fail for a marketing logo.

@chuckv5150 no disrespect to Nutnfancy pfi dude or tacticaldoodle but this video blatantly seemed like they were primarily taking the piss out of David chow. there's many occasions where hes trying to speak and someone either pulls a stupid face makes a stupid comment or starts talking over David total disrespect to mr chow he has patience keeps his cool and just gets on with it. I guess the mini would be slightly narrower, but not much shorter. A longer runtime from two batteries and a twistie would be kind cool though. Id buy one haha. Foursevens, please make a titanium mini 123 with the neutral white led. Love mine, just wish it was neutral white like my neutral mini I got.

Whats talked about at SHOT is not the end all end all. 2012 can still bring us plenty of goodies. Remember 4sevens still strives to be ahead of the game, and Im sure we will see new led choices as well as them refining current products throughout 2012.

Love foursevens lights, but its really disapointing they decided to focus/invest in branding over the past year, rather than develop new lights for us to buy. New product of one little key chain light, whistles and a pen. Now I have to shop elsewhere for my flashight fix. Oh well...

Why don't they design more of the tiny lights to clip to the bill of you baseball cap. I noticed my AAA lights have pocket clips that are not reversible and are mounted light down. If they would design them to be "light up" (or reversible like knife clips) I could use them on my cap for hands free use.

I don't lend my pens out nearly as often as I use them myself. So now, 98% of the time I have to find somewhere to put the cap while I'm using it. Thumbs down. I also don't like pens with caps. Too much effort to use.

The only slightly exciting (new) thing here is the P0 key-chain light. I'm not sure how excited I am about having a strong magnet in my pocket, though. I understand the potential uses for a magnet, but I wish they offered a magnet-free version.

@curdit9 with enough heat you can permanently neutralize a magnet, so if it is really a problem for you, just heat that sucker until it glows (or whatever temp a neo magnet needs to be permanently neutralized). Or you could try to remove it.

Absolutely love FourSevens. I own many of their lights including the Turbo X. I think you may find a few things to dislike about that light however as I know I did (useless pocket clip being one of them). Great video very entertaining!

First of all, I love FourSevens.....my EDC light is a mini123.....but feel a little let down after the booth review. Doesn't look like they really have anything new, other than a keychain light....a $200 pen...and a $2500 mega LED. Hopefully 2012 will be full of more useful products. Again..I love FourSevens....cool new branding...great products..I'll continue to buy their stuff....just looking for more innovation in the future. Thanks for the review, Nutn!

you know i'm glad to hear that your concerned about Packaging Nutnfancy! Because although i'm totally a GTF'r (gun toting freak) haha I still get worried about all the damn plastic and garbage that we make and then spread everywhere!! EVERYTIME I go out and shoot in the desert I see human impact and it's usually plastic garbage! Tons of plastic and packages and I hate it! It ruins the outdoor experience and it only gets worse it seems! and I can only pick up so much! So thanks for speaking up!!

I think David did well. What people need to keep in mind here is that shot show is not for the general public(end user). The re-branding of a company is very common in the retail world and often necessary for growing brands such as four-sevens. I've worked in retail my whole life, and guess what. New customers are generally attracted to a quality presentation. This company has proven itself as a quality brand that is driven by customers. There is nothing wrong with getting you're name out there

I have a quark 123x2 tactical and reversed the pocket clip and put it on the bill of my cap for a head lamp. You can not do this with a fenix pd30. The body needs to be a little longer so I can use a 17670 in it. I have a quark 123x2 tubo x and the17670 will work in it. I have bought these lights becuse of Nutnfancy reviews showing durability and versatily.

@runngunr21 David is a great guy. He's actively on candlepowerforums answering questions and giving out info on new products as the info becomes available. The only real reason the lights weren't touched on much is because most of them have full reviews already and all have been discussed in the 2011 SHOT vid that weren't shown in this one.
