  • *Ö*

I tried this yesterday and it's so awfully hard in normal mode already x'D

Did you learn the steps by heart? Really really awesome!

  • @NeeChanProduction I passed this chart on my first try. This video is of the second time I played it. It's a freakishly terrible chart, so it's not worth memorizing any of it.

  • wow man you are a real freak :) i totally struggle with this song on iphone ddr on expert...it's just so hardcore! 5/5

  • OMGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! Awesome! Couple of questions though-

    1. What board are you using? I have not seen that before.

    2. How long have you been playing the game? I just got mine this Christmas and it is giving me the blues!

Also, thank you very much for posting this. I have seen a lot of people post themselves playing the game but I think they were using the nun chucks instead of the board.

  • 1. I'm using a Cobalt Flux pad. I bought a pair after I realized that DDR had replaced every other game I played.

    2. I started playing at the beginning of July 2007. At the time I made this video, I had been playing 15 months. I still play 3-4 times a week.

If you only started playing at Christmas, don't give up hope. It takes a lot of practice to improve. A month from now, you'll be passing things that you thought were impossible for you before.

  • finally some one who can REALLY play good job

  • Silver Dream finally AAd on pad. Under 30 greats at that. With that done, I've finally AAd all of HP2.

  • That part at 1:50 begins as a left turn crossover stream.

  • hey, im back. could you post a video of you doing like, sunkiss drop, or like, Xepher, or something like that? oooh, maybe on the break or Saber Wing (Akira Ishihara Headshot Mix). I've got a B on that on challenge, with practice, i think that that's a stepchart that does infact make sense, and fits the song.

  • Video of all 4 in a row will be up sometime tomorrow. I faied Horseshit Mix at the first fast crossovers, because I simply can't do crossovers at that speed. It was my first (and last) pad attempt at it though.

  • SERIOUSLY DOUBT, its the easiest 10 you've done. Not trying to be rude but, u would of ATLEAST gotten an AA, or a A, if that was the easiest 10 you've done.

  • I don't A or AA 10s, even the easy ones. Also, this one is so poorly constructed that while it's easy to pass, it's hard to get a good score. If you really think there's an easier 10, then name it.

  • yeah, u r right... the only thing is that like, doesnt there have to be atleast 550 steps to make this song a 10 anyway..... (i think)

the newer ddr games, like hottest party and x, have changed the difficulty alot. Well, i would of gotten a B my first or second time too , but with practice, i definantly get an A.

  • Max 300. You're not stepping at 380+ BPM at parts, it's just 300 throughout the duration of the song. I have managed to AA it myself along with PS 270.

  • I find this much easier, because it only has occasional 3 step 16th bursts. At 192 bpm, that's 12.8 steps per second (sps). But since the burst are only 3 steps long, you can actually get away with stepping at 7.2 sps and still combo them. Sort of how in the 3 step burst section of Max 300 you can make it easier by stepping early on the first step and late on the last of each burst.

Max 300 has long streams that require you to maintain 10 sps, which is harder.

I never padded SD a third time.

  • Max 300 is still easier to PA IMO. There's no crossovers in it, and the only real thing you have to worry about is stamina. There's nothing WTF about Max 300.

  • If you read my original reply to Clublander from 2 months ago, you can see that I already stated that Silver Dream is harder to PA than most 10s. I specifically stated that it is easier to pass than any other 10 I have played, even though it is harder to score on than most of them.

Good job earning AA on it. You have a higher tolerance for poor charts than me. I still have no plans to pad this chart a third time, even though I padded Max 300 and PS a few days ago and found them easy to pass.

  • Damn that's awsome! I can't even do that song in BASIC! but Begginner isnt fun since the arrows only go left and right.

  • I just did a recorded run of this a couple days back. I can get the great count down pretty decently, but the misses are still sky high and it's mainly because of the already mentioned stupidities of the chart itself. If it weren't for the crap, this wouldn't be a hard AA at all.

  • Unfortunately, the hand marker placement doesn't save this chart from hell. I thought I'd try it to see if alleviates some of the BS on the foot only chart, but I see it doesn't and in fact adds a few more awkward sections to deal with. I have managed to get a B on this though, miraculously enough considering that I only have the packed in softmat to play with along with the foam board from the Ignition 3.0. I do ultimately agree with you on this, Konami WTF?!

  • Congratulations on being the first skilled player to post a comment on either of my Silver Dream videos.

I'm getting sick of all the noobs posting about their amazement at my score when it's such a poor score.

Anway, about the chart, and charts in general. I seriously believe that Konami has hired people that don't play on pad to make the charts. Thus, this game, its predecessor, and the PS2 releases of the same years have had phenomenally bad charts. Go Konami. (Go hire someone else Konami)

  • With some of the more severe cases in this game (No Matter What, Desert Journey, among others) it's almost like I'm being flicked off by the developers while I play the charts out. Several of the KOs on this game are artificially hard due to idiotic step/jump patterns and streams that don't flow into anything properly for no reason at all. Then, for me at least, there's those charts that work great feet only, but when hands are thrown in they turn to major disappointments.

  • And it also works the other way around too, except maybe not to the same extremes. Out of 51 charts, I only consider 30 of them playable with hands and or feet, 6 are great foot only, and the rest of them are absolute pieces of shit to the point where they seriously need to fire whoever did it.

I've gotten a B on Osaka Evolved. It's not as bad as Silver Dream, but it does have it's stupid crossovers and shuffles into idiotic jumps in places too. It's also got Bag syndrome at the beginning.

  • AAd Osaka Evolved with 18 greats.

  • So you've got an A on Osaka EVOLVED in Expert?

  • I haven't bothered to play Osaka EVOLVED.

  • I've passed the song myself on different occasions on Expert, but it's a real bitch because of the chart layout of some parts. I shudder the thought of even trying it with hand markers on.

  • our really good

  • how long have you been playing?

  • I've been playing since July '07. Usually an hour or two a day, with breaks recently to deal with injuries.
