@TheJMP617 Hahaha! Tnx for repeatedly watching the vid. I'm currently editing another travel vid (Manila to Bangkok via Asiana and Thai Airways). Will post it soon!
Hmmm... excluding airfare & taxes, for 6 days I survived in Bangkok with $500. That includes chipping in for rides around the city, tours, and lodging. With small time shopping on the side. I suggest you travel with a group. Saves you money when you all share.
I was a student that time and I sure wanted to by lots of clothes coz it's so inexpensive there. I'm going back there January 2009 to shop for more shirts! Yeah!
your vids actually is awesome, we've checked each one of them, just one question though, can we take video sa any airport just like the one you've done. we're traveling sa may 30th may stop over sa vancouver. thanks in advance and keep uploading your vids.. great day
Yes you can, kaso in some airports (bawal kumuha sa immigration area lalo na sa US, they post signs na No Cameras).
Pero you're free to take vids elsewhere sa airport. Sakin, sige lang. Malalaman ko lang na bawal pag may sumita sakin. So far wala pa naman nangyaring ganon.
Thank you for watching my vids. Have a safe trip! :-)
Scariest experience? One was when someone stole my knapsack as we were disembarking from our flight from Guam (though it was eventually recovered), and another another was when our Singapore Airlines flight to Manila took of and had technical problems shortly after take off. The airconditioning system was shut off, there were no PA system, no lights, and the aircraft was dumping fuel. We turned around and went back to Changi Airport. :-)
Well, SIA happens to be one of the best airlines, and that incident happened sometime 1992. SIA aircrafts these days are new and very well maintained. Although I encountered that on SIA, It's still one of my dream to fly on SIA again, specially on their A380.
We were about to push back from Mineapolis aboard a NWA flight and the 747's flaps won't extend so we had to go back to the terminal. Y'know, stuffs happen, but it won't stop me from flying. :-)
lol hope it wont bcoz i still wanna see more vids from u lol
i just cnt wait me and my family r going to philippines dis friday the 18th i really cant wait but its just were taking quantas i wanna try sumotha airlines
Well, you can try Cathay Pacific but it stops in Hong kong, you can try Singapore Airlines, or Philippine Airlines if you want feel at home even before you land in Manila. ;-)
Also PAL is the first airline in Asia ut an incident happened a bomb planted in a seat (The terrorist thought it was near the fuel something) but luckily only one died but many injured.
What you need to accomplish... a valid passport and a roundtrip ticket. HK's one of the easiest Asian cities to go to. I think ang tourist can stay for a maximum of 7 or 14 days.. not sure but go ask a travel agent. No visas required unless magbabalak ka magtagal doon. Again, just ask your travel agent as things do change in terms of requirements.
Bring pocket money narin, as in sobra sobra lalo na pag first time mo. And keep about $100 sa wallet mo pang emergency papunta't pabalik.
O nga e. Sayang, di ko ma-post yung iba kong vids dati kasi wala pang camera fone o digicam noon. Anyway, I'm planning to go to Singapore soon, via Kuala Lumpur or Tokyo (thru award travel, haha!) then pakita ko ano food nila doon. Thanks for watching! :-)
Bear with us, it's just a second language and we're not that fluent. At least- the vid. :-)
If you're familiar with how things are in the Philippines, you'd know that people there find humor in speaking 'Broken English' or people trying hard to speak in english that their topic tends to lose its direction. That's what the guy in green jacket is doing.
About 1-2 hours. It was an odd time because we had to check out from the hotel at 2pm, stroll around the streets a bit to shop, then there wasn't much to do anymore so... and we anticipated there'd be traffic knowing it's Bangkok. But it was ok coz we didn't feel rushed and we had plenty of time to take pics and vids around the airport- thus the airport vids! :-)
Bangkok was fun. However this being my second trip to Thailand, I only went to visit the temples thru tours. We didn't bother to go to the beaches anymore as our main goal for our trip is to shop for shirts... and eat! Eat spicy Thai food! And also enhance our haggling skills specially on the Tuktuk, haha! :-)
(I have a few vids of our stay in Bangkok. Lemme just finish this 3 part series, then I'll grant your request.)
Yes, I've been to O'hare a few times before, LOL!
The last time I was there was 1998 I think.
I dunno how it looks like lately, but I remember the walkway with wavy neon lights at the ceiling. Is it still there? :-)
I took United Airlines using the route Manila-Seoul-San Francisco-Chicago. Yes, United served Manila for a while, but I guess they lost to Northwest Airlines.
I remember UAL had empty flights from Taipei to Manila on their evening flight. I still have my vids (on camcorder) where me & my bro would run around the entire coach class cabin with almost no one on board! :-)
Anyway, I didn't like UAL's service that time on both Asian and transpacific routes, which made me choose NWA. Since then, the airport I use when arriving in Chicago is Midway.
9) Xiamen Airport in China 10) Palau Int'l Airport in Micronesia 11) Guam Int'l Aiport 12) Honolulu Int'l Airport 13) Los Angeles LAX 14) San Francisco SFO 15) Chicago O'hare ORD 16) Chicago Midway MDW 17) St. Paul/Minneapolis 18) Detroit DTW 19) Philadelphia PHL 20) Nashville, TN (BNA)
21) Las Vegas' McCarran Airport 22) Albuquerque NM 23) El Paso 24) Austin TX 25) Houston TX 26) San Diego (CA) 27) Manila's NAIA 28) Nagoya, Japan 29) Osaka, Japan 30) John Wayne Airport, Orange County CA where my mom and siblings are now currently based. Darn... no European Airports yet... (Sigh!)
I repeatedly watch this video to hear that special line! "It's so magaleng!" LOL

Hate NAIA 1 !
