  • I think it is good the Tories have done this, but it is fair to say that many backbenchers do not want this at all,

  • Total rubbish.

  • Cool, ex-British colonies who are still saddled with debt, "why don't they just help themselves"

  • What is the point giving aid? There going to starve next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, and so on. They need to be given simple & cheap education on building, agagriculture and health. Don't make them dependent on us, get them to help themselves.

  • I wonder how much money they wasted on this advert. The money could have gone to The East Africa Appeal!

  • LOL, sweet video, guys!

  • Good job they got Pickles out of the way early. Wouldn't seem right him talking about famine

  • My god, they're all so WOODEN!

  • There's bad dubbing on Cameron!

  • I think enough is spent already. What about the UK? Money is needed at HOME. Join KIVA and donate directly and get rid of all the 'gravy train'.

  • Very alarmed at this opportunistic trash. Charity does begin at home, and Africa is a bottomless pit into which money could be poured forever more and still achieve nothing but aid dependence. The instigators of this insulting rubbish should be ashamed of themselves.

  • Rothchild bankers

  • Could have just left out the entire first part, and just talked about the appeal? As a member of the party, I was not impressed by your attempt to politicise a charity appeal.

  • @xTheFreeMason This isn't politicising a charity. It they said at the end 'vote conservative' then I would agree - that would be wrong.

  • lol watching it at first I did want to do as the guy said & use the opportunity to go make a cuppa, but it was very cleverly done, cool ad

  • "....even builders.." (You know, those stupid idiots who know nothing, are worth nothing yet have built the entire damned country for people, even politicians to live in comfort.)

How out of touch are these fools?

Imagine if they had said, "even women"!!!!!!

Well, believe it or not blue brigade, "even builders" is equally insulting.

What planet do these "people" live on?

  • @Cabinessance seriously?..are you incorrectly translating the tone of that on purpose or can you really not tell why the ad has that line?

  • These are the faces of the people who will be hung from the lampposts when the revolution comes...

  • Actually, I think I will vote ukip instead of these guys next time. Ive had enough of this rubbish.

  • I really don't buy any of this (from ANY party). These third world countries (especially NE Africa) have suffered from the same things for hundreds of years; just go and check it out. They need to manage themselves better and we need to stop selling them guns and supporting oppressive regimes. Stop hosing money we haven't got down the drain abroad. Just hate the phoney spin here; we've had enough of this type of BS thx.

  • more condoms and birth pills are urgently needed..

  • DEATH TO THE DICTATOR!

  • If you voted conservative at the last election you will have been disappointed to get a Tony Blair clone called David Cameron. He is basically a marxist toff with zero conservative idea's . I saw it coming a long time before the election and didnt vote for the "blue labour party" .Shame that most voters dont pay attention.

  • The of East Africa don't need food, water and medical supplies. They need self-sustainability. Because what we're doing is hooking them on the drug called "western aid".

Africa needs to be allowed to develop. It needs teachers, engineers, political and economical auditors. Due to western aid, children survive to adulthood, and the life expectancy in Africa is constantly in rise. But we did that without advancing the vital fields of Agriculture and Medicine needed to support their growing needs.

  • @ukipyouth like your balanced migration policy, eg, if 100.000 Brits move abroad you would be happy to see 100.000 migrants flood into Britain.

ukip are what is commonly known as a Cul-de-sac party, much the same as the Daily Star and the Daily Mail are an outlet for genuinely frustrated Britons who have had enough of the last 60 years of Politically correctness and pro immigrant policies of the treacherous LIbLabCon

  • Very nice of them to use the music from our anti-goverment cartoon too!

    /watch?v=ME7K6P7hlko

"Meet your strawman" tells the truth about these "people".

  • Reckon they expensed their donations

  • all those who oppose this add i think have totally missed the mark. Yes i do agree that it is a clever advertising ploy but i also believe that what they're saying genuinly is true, they may not genuinly believe it them selves (and to be honest it reminds me of a school assembly) but never the less, if you had two and a half minuites to make the biggest change, what would you use that time to do? don't be a hypocryte.

  • Tobias Ellwood!!!!

  • Oh. And by the by. Please don't think I have anything to do with UKIP or any other "true nationalist" political party for that matter. I'm just an "ordinary person" disgusted by the way the advert tried to misappropriate the need for charity (state and private) for political ends. Has George Osborne secured billions of charitable support from the banks we "ordinary people" are having to bail out? I think not.

  • This is absolutely disgusting. So BADDLY judged. No one in their right mind would think that this was anything other than opportunistic. Their media manager must be an idiot. How out of touch are you. This is ACTUALLY offensive!!!

  • Saw this tonight and was appalled. Slick, cynical and deliberately linking the Conservative Party with an appeal that should be a non-political issue. The people of East Africa do need the British Government's help - we'd have done a lot more good if the resources and billions of pounds spent bombing Libya had been poured into East Africa. Instead of continuing to risk our brave soldiers lives in Afghanistan why don't we put them to use in humanitarian causes? Don't make hunger into politics.

  • @ukipyouth And that makes ukip what exactly. ukip were formed by the tories too take votes from true Nationalist parties standing for election to the European parliament. The shameful thing is that the general public fall for the LibLabCon+ukip lies time after time. They are all basically different strings from the same bow.

  • The most disgusting abuse of a genuine tragedy the British public has had to witness. Anyone who sees it as anything else is naive in the extreme. Shame on you Cameron, et al.

  • I don't like your cuts. I am unlikely to vote Tory. I know you are taking flack on increasing development and aid. But Mr Cameron I respect you for this. People will be alive tomorrow because of the tough principled stand you and your party are taking on the issue of development. Britain is about more than just wealth it has always stood for decency.

  • Dear Mr Cameron

You and your followers the biggest bunch of despicable c*nts I've ever seen. Even Thatch refused to exploit a famine for political gain. I hope you and your oily crew are pelted with month old sh*t everywhere you go!

  • Dear Mr Cameron didn't your parents teach you that charity starts at home.

  • I went off as soon as they said Conservative.

  • this is brilliant, I just wish people would stop being so cynical about it. Just take it for it is, an attempt to raise money for africa.

  • @TheMaximilianMck Naive is not the word!

  • You know i dont know why people bother trying to do nice things like using their TV time for good, rather then bashing the party that got us into this mess where in (which does not compare) in the first place. Oh, and for the people saying stuff like 'let them fend for themself' or 'who really cares' you have no heart, your whats wrong with this country. Im proud of my party for doing this.

  • About time these dumb fucks learned that charity starts at home... Look at how many billions we have thrown at africa over the years and it has achieved fuck all...

  • Yep, the more I see of them, the more I am convinced by the Conservatives!

  • Nice to see my party using our TV time for good.

  • The Creator said my “videos will cure the world” and that my “book is a good book” please see my pages for more details, I wish you all perfect happiness, Leyla Ergun
