Thats what my last job was like. A bunch of girls who wouldnt do work, guys who sat on their phones and texted in the back of the store, and me... the guy staying til 2AM to close.
Most employees are OK and some managers are, but the more managers there are the dumber they get. And they don't communicate that much. Once a the store manager thought I was not working enough so he told me to go work outside with the cart pushers, later on in the break room my department's personal manager told me to go work our department, since I didn't want to work outside and the store manager left for the day I did.
I must say this if you're a store Manager at Wal-Mart you are paid exceptionally well. Associates get paid nothing! I always say there are two different wal marts Corperate and Retail Wal mart.
I've seen the store manager reclining in his office chair with his feet propped up on the other chair on the computer doing what ever. And then they say I don't work hard enough. XD

Hauling 500lbs-600lbs pallets of Merchandise for 7.45 an hour. Managers not wanting to do their job and asking you to do more than what they originally hired you for. I love it when they say youre part time but work you an hour over your orginal schedule. I say that!
When i got hired, i nogociated my pay rate, my last job was a temp job and it paid me $8.50hr, so i told them at walmart that i wanted to work with that same pay, they declined, but gave me $8.20 for a entery level $7.20hr Overnight maintance. I got my first evalu that same year of hire and got a rise to $8.50, the next year of my evalu i got pushed up to $8.80hr. Just last year of my evalu i got pushed up again to $9.60hr, this year i'm hoping to get $10hr in just my 3yr working 4 walmart. :-)
