  • all these small maxpedition packs excel at one thing: a scouting pack.

  • "Like a little TARDIS": Love the geek reference!

Did you find a good place for a sonic screwdriver?

  • @Tizmaole :)

  • Nice review, but it lost me when I realized it's a slingbag. I prefer the balance and security of a conventional two-strap backback.

  • Thanks Pablo. Don't think the ":knowing Americans" remark about the gun escaped me! Hahahaaa! I agree with you...I think it is too small to be a viable field pack. However, it is a great size for every day carry. It isn't as purse like, like the versipacs are, and it handles a little more edc gear. I still use my Jumbo for tracking, and the Vulture 2 for anything substantial or an extended stay in the bush. Thanks for the review pal. 5 starz.

  • Great review.

    Ever tried the Malaga?

  • Like you said when you had the Sitka loaded, Don't be fooled by its size, you can get alot of stuff in Maxpedition packs.

    Great review Pablo.

  • All the exterior straps are M.O.L.L.E. and with the Maxpedition Tie Tac you can attach all manner of additional gear bags and pouches. As I understand it the Sitka is for Urban use. The main pocket for a lap top and the little mesh and other pockets in it for peripherials for the lap top. The other pockets for lunch and snacks and maybe a change of clothes or rain gear while running around on the job or at university. Also as a single day pack.

  • We do like pockets for our pistols :)

    Good review.

Too bad it doesn't take a full camel back.

  • Lol. I guessed so!

The sleeve takes a 3 litre camelbak size-wise, but I wouldn't fill it up to full as it makes it very uncomfortable.

  • I really like my Kodiak, Im glad I got the bigger size

  • Pablo...did I see that right? At 2:14 you show two pockets...one zip. So that one zip...does it cover both pockets?

  • Yes - Two pockets and one zip that goes across both

  • Great honest review! Thanks for showing us. 5/5

  • Doesn't the pack feel heavy after a while because of the single strap instead of the weight being distributed between two straps?

  • If you load it up too much it does feel a bit heavy - but the cross strap helps.

  • GOOD STUFF

will have to catch up soon mate.

all the best on your up and coming trip!!

    mike

  • Excellent review Pablo! Have missed ur vids.

  • Great review Pablo, thanks for posting.

I haven't tried a gearsliger yet. but I'm assuming they are great for outings in the woods.

    5/5
