John Campbell's dad and I worked at an office supply firm in Bloomington IL and one night I got invited over for dinner to get to hear John (about 10 maybe) play one classical piece (Claire de Lune) and then "Take Five". He was good then and wound up like me playing sing-along tunes at Shakey's Pizza Parlor with a banjo player. I caught up with him once again in Chicago where his group was playing on the north side years ago, but am glad to see he is apparently not pushing up daisies.
