Thanks for this video! I'm currently working in Building 67 at the Boeing Company (where most of this video was shot) and have always wanted a way I can show my friends/family where I work... now I can without having to go through getting them security clearance!
The amazing thing is that this acft is on or under budget and on time on production. But this is a far cry from the pig f-22 program (500mil per copy)
This acft has some stuff that is more advance than the world most expensive fighter (f-22). The Navy don't REALLY care for the f-35 because of ONE thing, single eng
It's truly amazing they can do all that with that manpower and the tech involved for only $55m or whatever it is. Crazy. It's arguably the best military deal the US can buy in recent history and would be a conspiracy if it were killed by DoD in order to buy something more risky, unproven and substantially more expensive in this environment. And fwiw, I'm more of an F-16 fan than Super Hornet fan.
