@785tt9gh we have been enthusiastic users of our Max Burton for over a year now. I am not sure how long it takes to boil a dozen eggs. However, the bigger the pot and the more water there is, the longer it takes. I'd love to say it is magically fast but I think "quite a bit" faster would be more accurate. I can see that poaching eggs would be very quick and would save on energy costs in the long run to off-set the initial cooktop's cost. Over time the savings would make the initial purchase price almost free when considering all the other cooking tasks that save time and energy.
