I think it is partly the camera and part practice. My camera has an automatic stabilizer to reduce shaking. The practice part just takes time. I recommend holding the camera as close to your chest as you can. You can use your arms and your body to hold it steady. Also having a husband that lest you rest the camera on his shoulder while filming helps. lol
