Personally I think Pro mod has got a long way to go yet! There are countless things that need to be sorted before it can be seriously considered from both sides of the fence.

Lets face it! Its a labor in vein anyway. Even if you made the perfect blend of css and cs the 1.6 players would still complain about the most trivial things.

@Dogbuggery I prefer 1.6 to Source. I believe that Source's maps are far too open and not as tightly designed as 1.6. The flashbangs are horrendous and buggy; you can be flashed even when it's behind a wall. I don't like the lack of walling in Source; though sometimes I think it's a little too much in 1.6 (Nuke). I feel the recoil in Source is artificial -- in 1.6 I can "feel" it better by the screen shake. There's many reasons I still prefer 1.6. I'm really hoping that Pro-mod bridges the gap.

You need WinRAR first of all. When you have downloaded WinRAR (just use the trial because the program doesnt self uninstall after forty days) download CS ProMod. You need to into the WinRAR file and extract the cspromod folder (not sure if that is right but you'll know it when you see it). You need to extract the cspromod folder in the C:\Programfiles\Steam\steamapp­s\YOURACCOUNTNAMEHERE\Sourcemo­ds (if you have 64bit Operating System the Programfiles portion with say Programfiles(x86).

AHHHH this is true and something i hate about the game. In 1.6 de dust 2 is called just that because the very walls were constructed from dust! but in all honesty its a true flaw to the game and pisses me off when im walled through solid walls like the wall in DD2 short where you can fire bullets into the tunnel from the bombsite..I dont mind being walled through wood like DD2 mid. but through solid concrete 5 meter thick walls i find it just as much bullfucking shit as the next guy.

For that utter IDIOTS who havent PLAYED 1.6 they HAVENT played the beta ill educate you sks.1.6 is a game.Cs:S is a game.Cspm is a mod for Cs:S when it is finilized and compleated it will be i believe a standalone launcher or a standalone game and a competitive alternative to source.The mod as it stands is in the beta 1.03 and thats been out for like a year so i think we can expect a hopefully a release the end of this year as a good way to start the year but im not sure with the date.
