  • The illusion was made by John Gaughen, believe this was made around early/mid 80's.

    Was presented first time in Olympia in Paris, mid 80's.

  • I believe that this particular model of sawing, with the box slid over the lady from either end, was introduced by Guy Barrett at Blackpool Tower Circus in 1992; he used a buzzsaw rather than a laser, and the lady from the plate-spinning act who had a scream like one of the Doctor Who girls from the 1960s & 70s
