Hello Giovanni. I must agree: One of the more talented organists on YouTube. Having listen to this beautiful piece, is it possible for you to arrange the last movement of Camille Saint-Saens 3rd Symphony for Organ? I am sure that with your know-how, your skill and your sensitivity you can do it. God bless you.
Perfectly slow ! When it is slow, you have to feel the rhythm in it, it must never fail. You succeed in doing this. This is more difficult than playing it fast, and more beautiful too. I hear things I never heard before. Someone said Saint-Saens was the second one, immediately after Bach. I tend to agree. Grande, grande ! Bravo.
Mr. Danda, You never fail to provide a great experience in classical organ literature! You have made the Saint-Saens sing and the visual component of this post is superb! I wish I knew some italian to express the thought I have in your native language. In my own rough translation, bordone32 must say a lot! Grazi ! (?) to you!!
Yes sergiolcb, it would be better a little faster, but the problem is the acoustics; in this case, would be lost clarity in the notes to the right hand!
Unfortunately, it is not presented on Youtube. You can try some download on Internet or maybe purchase this remarkable recording in the link below. There is a little extract on the Hyperion site.
Excellent perforance of the Saint-Saens! Wonderful to have such software as the Hauptwerk to bring forth such instruments that, at one time, could only be heard in the venues that they are positioned in.. Now, we can play these same instruments in our own homes...

Beautiful! Excellent, and the tempo is perfect!
What are these people talking about, that it's too slow. They obviously never heard it played before.

I guess the interpretation was superb, but a little slow. There is a wonderful fuga after this prelude that worths a lot.
