Fucking idiots. If you knew ANYTHING about this music you would know that all these riffs are in different scales and tunings. Trivium is one of the very few metalcore bands that are capable of creating original songs, so go and bash AILD, AX7 and any deathcore band instead.

well...i admit those sound similar, but at the same time trivium has so many other songs, so it shouldnt make much of a difference. They dont steal all of their songs, ofcourse a few riffs are similar, but so what? And also, that's assuming they did, but most likely they made it up, with other riffs in their subconcious. it's not exactly the same, but not purposely copying. this sort of thing happens to many songwriters and bands, and it's happend to me too.

The funny thing is if you watch alot of these vids about ripped off riffs you'll see that Metallica is the biggest ripoff of all XD. Actually i do not believe that most bands rip off other bands, it's all about making the song as good as possible and you usually dont notice if it sounds simular to other songs at some points. I think we ran out of riffs a long time ago and that riffs are just being recycled :P

Trivium is heavily influenced by 80s and 90s thrash metal. Metallica, Sepultura, and Slayer in particular. They're supposed to sound like them. Trivium recentley went on tour with Metallica, because both bands are fans of each other. And one more thing. Trivium is very, very heavily influenced by Iron Maiden.
