Do it in pieces (arms, legs, torso etc) and piece them together afterwards (if you're using bandages and NOT just plaster... plaster will just break apart, you need the fabric of the bandage in there too) Your body parts should all fit together, our class did full life casts and all of them worked!

YOU'RE CRAZY !! You can do that with Plaster ! You have to do that with alginate or Silicone but plaster isn't the good material ! It will be difficult to put it off the model and it will hurt the model !

The plaster mix we used took about 20mins to dry. Gets quite warm while drying so better leave some skin exposed for cooling or do in smaller segments.

hot - yes, burn -no. At least the plaster we use here...better check instructions or use casting plaster from movie production. Don't remember the oil.

Plaster was from the hardware store...oil from the supermarket (body hair!). Purpose was an upper-body cast. Try it, don't forget the oil first.
