  • if the interior of 1970s beetles were not so boring it would be a perfect car

  • Dude make a demo of the system

  • Do you also have some sound deadening stuff in there? It looked like you had some in the front trunk and some in behind the back seat. I could see some chrome stuff so I was just wondering if thats what that stuff was.

  • @alexancia5279 Yup! LOL good eye.

  • @dennisplus1 Does it actually make a big difference inside?

  • @alexancia5279 yes it deff does. especially with this tin can lol

  • @dennisplus1 Ok sweet because im thinking about putting some in mine. What kind did you use?

  • @dennisplus1 What sound deadening stuff do you have?

  • @RedRoosterRoad I really don't know it was given to me by a friend

  • It kinda sounds like it idles a bit low. Idk I could be totally wrong

  • @alexancia5279 Yeah I had the timing just a tad bit retarted I liked the backfire from the dual exhaust. Good ear.

  • @dennisplus1 hmm, sounds good, but does retarding the timing not have an impact on preformance / acceleration, top revs etc ?

  • @david197407 YES IT DOES BIG TIME. YOU ACTUALLY GOTTA BE VERY CAREFUL SO AS NOT TO MESS UP THE VALVES. ACCELERATES SLOWER AND PERFORMANCE IS NOT AS GOOD.

  • jc whitney exhaust?

  • @supersupra101 I have no clue

  • What is a autostick?

  • @CalamityBentriniti I have no clue

  • @dennisplus1 Thanks...

  • @CalamityBentriniti an autostick is an automatic transmission but you sift into the gears almost like you would a manual transmission only you don't shift through each gear. so to make it more clear, instead of the auto gear shifter by the steering wheel it is right next to your leg between your side and the passenger side like a manual. it is used often in the newer cars. i hope this helps you understand. and sorry if it doesn't

  • @kcleft123 thanks for the quick explanation. :-)

  • @kcleft123 Thanks, I think I caught some of that, after all I am only 13. Thats my first car rgith there. -_-. Have a great day and thanks for the response. :)

  • @CalamityBentriniti i can understand that im only 15. i found a little more to try to make it easier. a van has the gear lever next to the steering wheel which you move up and down p n r d 3 2 1 are the options that you can choose from. an auto stick is placed in the same area as a manual but instead of having R 1 2 3 4 5 and N in the H pattern the only way you can move an auto stick is forwards and backwards with the options of P N R D 3 2 1 like a van. i hope this makes it easier.

  • @kcleft123 Wow, Alot easier, Thanks!

  • @CalamityBentriniti no problem sorry i made it so confusing

  • hey i have a 72 with the same duel port carb. and i just replaced the alternator & now the wire that connects to my carb is shorting out on my fan shroud. i cant figure out how to space them apart. and ideas? does that happen to you?

  • @thel3tchnextdoor Never happened to me is the wire just in open air or is it insulated?

  • sweet. can you still hear the stereo pretty well when your driving down the highway? i think i might get that exhaust system and i have a custom stereo system

  • what kind of stereo system do you have in it, and can you still hear it pretty well over the exhaust?

  • @heissbari Its just two 12 orion subs powered by a non-brand amp and a cheapy head unit

  • @heissbari Yeah I could still hear it. mostly bass though

  • it looks bad =/ poor vw käfer

  • @elvisinho11 Yeah poor bug . . . .

  • Comment removed

  • i love the way it sounds bro bad ass

  • Thanks I love the sound too. A little meaner then the average bug out there. It's for sale if interested.
