@xinugm but some trucks like build ur own motors and not stock bought motor u have to have everything right sometimes even the oil thickins up if u dont drive it over time. a stock motor its fuel injected and its good and works but custom build are way more different and u have to tune right the gear boxs u have to tune to make sure your not over doin it so when u drive ur not going to blow the motor right away

The TT driver I spoke to at Laughlin said the jump was trivial, it was just a matter of who could attain the most speed in the short acceleration period. The track surface deteriorated with each vehicle so only the earliest attempts had any chance. Gordon had both an early slot and more power due to his expensive factory engine.

I don't feel that's an accurate comment - one reason being is you don't know every driver personally enough to make that kind of blanket statement. I would say he's a black sheep because he's such an aggressive driver. He's basically what a NASCAR driver was back when it started with roots in booze running. If he was southern, the fans would love him and declare him ballsy - but not if he's a California boy, that makes him a starry-eyed superstar Hollywood wannabe. I think he rocks.
