A dyno measures the theoretical horsepower and torque an engine produces. Since the dyno is a controlled test it can be used to measure the efficiency at which the engine is running by monitoring other parameters of the engine while running on the dyno. By monitoring these other parameters, a dyno operator can determine if certain adjustments to engine operation could possibly increase the horsepower and torque the engine produces. That is how a dyno can be used to increase engine power.

RESULTS????

It should be 150, but I think the dyno test is off because of the AWD?

Why should it be 150, based on what? All dynos will read differently and are useful for comparing before/after results, not results of other dynos.
For comparison, my stock '07 XT (turbo) put down 187hp/210lbs of torque the same day. A '98 Forester put down 110.

plus most dynos read at the wheels so its more like 160 at the fly wheel!

can you interpret the results? are they good or bad?

Thnx a lot :)

Can somebody please explain what the dyno realy does??? Is it only showing the power of the engine or making it more powerfull???
