  • I feel bad that your father died. I myself had a sister pass away as well as a grandfather. Never once did I feel as though God did not care for me. I truly believe that people look for reasons to leave the church. Most reasons are selfish ones. My only question is why stand and persecute LDS members? Just leave it alone.

  • she passed from religion into Jesus (Life!)

  • I went to HS with Tara & we had mutual friends, her life took a whirlwind when her father passed, we all saw that. How dare anyone call her names, that shows your lack of mentality! Do you have a right to judge her for her new beliefs? No, no one does, do I agree with her beliefs NO but am I going to judge her NO! If you look up the word CULT it states organized religion so that would include ALL organized religion. I only wish Tara the best in her new life, will she convert me? Nope LDS 100%

  • what a whore.

and what's the point of this ridiculous story. She still seems very confused.

  • She has passed from deception into truth and I think it's awesome!

  • As it's a testimony, yes, she uses the word "I" as anyone would. She is anything but a 'poor girl' as she has been saved from a blasphemous cult and is now in the body of Christ. Praise God!!!

  • Wow, she has no concept of eternal families. And I am really suprised she didn't hear about Jesus at a Mormon service. And I do think she should have tried to save her marriage, at least for her child. Amazing that she said "I was going through a divorce, so I didn't need a lesson on how to treat your husband." Sounds like she needed that lesson.

She saw only what she wanted to see, and that is sad.

  • For the sake of her 11-year old daughter who was there, she didn't go into the details of what her ex-husband was doing at the time prior to her divorce. So don't assume she needed that lesson. Better to ask than to assume. Further, she's quite aware of the LDS teaching of eternal families, but she now knows she can spend eternity in God's presence with any family member who repents and trusts the true Christ of the Bible.

  • So she was in a bad marriage, and it's the church's fault? Pity party of one.

  • Huh? She never said that. She said that what the LDS Church was talking about or not talking about those times she went was something that God used to get her looking elsewhere.

  • Her experience about not having a father and being "shunned" is not typical. If anything, widows are better taken care of in the church. The church assigns two home teachers, and two visiting teachers who would have helped in both temporal and spiritual matters. Where were her home teachers?

  • praise god for this wonderful woman! if she reads this i want to say to her that god "can" wake mormons up, keep it up!

  • I am happy for you and I pray your testimony will help others get out of the cult LDS.

  • My wife is hot!

  • @RSivulka She sure is!
