i know the song has nothing to do with this, but this song reminds me of the painful feelings that are associated with unrequited love. the emotion of the song, the lyric " i can never be beyond repair", i can painfully envision somebody who keeps pining after their love, captivated by their beauty, but cannot yet let go of their feelings. yet they know they have to, and they feel more confident now. even though it hurts as they look at the sunrise that reminds them of it all, they'll be okay.

yep I know it. I used to do deliveries over on Straddie and I had to take the barge really early and I'd get to see the sunrise on the water and the silhouette of the island on the horizon. And even working in the factory having to walk to work a 4 in the morning.
