aw man, nerve racking dude! At least you're almost there. If things work well with the horror movie investor, you can make the horror movie first and use the clout from that to make this movie. Er that's a back up plan anyway. Either way, keep going. I'm rooting for ya!
Delayed gratification is your middle name. Names. Are your middle names.
As for me - I'M MAKING MY FREAKING MOVIE!!!! YAARRRRGGHHHH!!!! No/Low budget, one week in, two weeks to go. TIRED and frazzled. don't even have time to be writing this. But if I can make it -YOU definitely can. xxx
@cjrocs52 Because it's a soap opera and a cliffhanger reality show wrapped into one crazy guy. Bottom line: it's compelling entertainment. Whatever that means.
I said the lawyer idea is good, It's like my pop's when selling someone else's house, he makes the owner of it sign a exclusive valid for a period of time (2 months actually) if he fails to sell it before that, the owner can either renew the contract, ask another agency to sell its house, or sell it on his own. Contracts make your life easier MAN! ... wait, I didn't say that did I? ¬_¬
P.S. That would make the surfer guy hurry up on deciding or at least keep calling so you dont lose interest.
Get a lawyer. What you need to do is start the dissolving process by sending a series of certified letters that are notarized and need to be responded to by a certain date. These should highlight the terms of the Non Disclosure Agreement and when it will be null and void. You need to be able to file these with your local county/municipality county court office. This will cover you in case the old investors try to claim ownership/rights.
Keep going matey :)

The "yeah" sound effect sounded like Donkey Kong 64.
You can do it, man! I have faith! If you can do it, so can the rest of us. Do it for us, so we can believe in our own projects and aspirations!
