0yarko uses an illegal combination of sleep powder and spikes on roserade. there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to get both of those moves. roserade male would give 3moves to baby budew/roselia. the last remaining move would be only of the moves it learns by itself. that means the female roserade does not play a single factor in which move budew/roselia gets.

end result: budew/roselia: either spikes or sleep powder (whichever male roserade has) and 3 filler moves(eg: absorb, mega drain, growth)

Flame Orb/Psycho Shift Noctowl is legal. But they didn't put that on smogon. Smogon is awesome, and I use it frequently, and so do millions of others, but that doesn't make smogon's word law.

and i was talking about spikes + sleep powder on roserade, not flame orb + psycho shift noctowl

and the reason why they didnt put flame orb + psycho shift noctowl is because XATU does it much better

spikes + sleep powder is illegal because no father of roserade is possible to learn those two moves at the same time

ILLEGAL means " it is impossible to breed and get those moves... NOT that a strategy is so good we should ban it. roserade unable to know SPIKES AND SLEEP POWDER AT THE SAME TIME. it has to have ONE of them.

(Also, don't take this the wrong way but if you lose with this new pass you'll just say it was because of the weaker Pokémon. If the person is using Pokémon at the same power levels as you, it's not testing your skills any more than any other team.)

The only way to get a Roserade that knows both Spikes and Sleep Powder is to use a cheating device. Spikes/Sleep Powder are egg moves, and no Pokemon learns both simultaneously to pass on both moves. You can only have one or the other.

Uhh... the male pokemon determines what moves the baby knows and the mother determines what species the baby pokemon is. The mother cannot pass on moves. So if you had a female Roserade with spikes and a male with sleep powder, only sleep powder would be passed on to the baby. :P

If your sceptile wasn't in a pokeball, that means you didn't get it from the proffessor and your didn't breed it (all eggs are automatically in pokeballs, even if your don't have any).

So if your Sceptile, or ANY of your starters was not in a pokeball, then you obtained it illegally. He probably thought your Sceptile was gonna use Brave Bird on him or something

And I dont know whether or not you would cheat like that in a standard battle. Some people do challege standard battles with OBVIOUSLY hacked pokemon like Skill Swap Slaking. :P

Blaziken all the time, infernape is just a stupid clone of him. By the way, do you now which pokemon you gonna to use? I would love (if possible) to see Ninetales sometimes. Only the best player's using that pokemon, for others she's "too weak". Blargh.

Sleep Powder and Spikes are incompatible Egg moves on Roserade. You can have Toxic Spikes with Sleep Powder, or Spikes with like.. Grasswhistle lol. But your Roserade has an illegal egg move combination.
