We did not have any snow, but I know that it can be a problem and this will delete your coming back from Lukla as plane will not take off when is snowing. I will suggest to go with a local agency, . If it snows in Lukla for our return trip, we will probably just trek down to Jiri which I have heard takes another 4-5 days.

I am planning on doing this trek in December 2011, Do you see any problems besides the cold weather in doing this in winter ?
Is December a good season, or do you recommend any other season ?
