  • You can't say "Originally a Bruce Springsteen song" when they use the Manfred Mann version in the intro... idiot.

  • @Rodney17302 ... and Chorus

  • Hay Como Extrañaba Ya Ver Nuevamente Este Super Sensacional Vídeo Dance,Que Maravillosa Rola En Verdad

  • Wow. That is definitely Manfred Mann's Earth Band singing half of the time.

And by the way, it was originally written by the Eagles. The Eagles did it first, Bruce Springstein did it second, then the ghost of Jimmy Hendrix did it. Mannfred Mann did it fourth and made it popular. Then Michael Jackson remade it in 2010.

  • I miss the 90's..

  • wrapped up like a douchebag in the middle of the night is the correct lyrics actually :D

  • Actualy it was me who made this once apon a time, but i lost it and one day i heard it on the radio........ :)

Husss now, just enjoy the music :)

    Super great.

  • Sombebody smoking crack here, this was originally by the Electric Light Orchestra, not Bruce Springsteen.

  • @ThunderTung69 Originally done by Spingsteen made famous by Manfred Mann. Google it.,

  • @ThunderTung69 Never done by ELO... good guess though. It was another band way ahead of their time, Manfred Mann.

  • great song, nice club music

  • best remix of this track. i prefer it to the orig.

  • EITHER IT SAYS "CRAKCED UP OR WRECKED UP LIKE A DEUCE"

  • How come no one else mentions that the lyric sounds like it says "wrapped up like a douche" instead of "cut loose like a deuce" ?

  • @baiNEKO because "cut loose like a deuce" is wrong...

  • 1970s was a silly time socialwise...

  • very nice

but I think there's nothing better than having a god time while dancing to the great house-remix by michael mind

  • Name of the group says it all FUNK STAR DE LUXE !

  • Actually the Manfred Mann version was released in August of 1976.

  • i LOVE iT

  • Your username is retarded as hell okay, smartass? >.>''

  • No, The Song was originally by Bruce Springsteen,

    Manfred Mann later covered it.

  • the song was actually originally by manfredd mann and the earth band...not bruce springsteen

still a nice twist on old school

  • The other way around. It was written and recorded by Springsteen in 1973 and covered by Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1977 :)

  • @shealynnmackenzie released by Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1975 i believe.

tha's when i first recall hearing it, thanks

  • @shealynnmackenzie and by 1977, shealynnmackenzie of course means 1976, as mentioned in earlier posts...

  • @shealynnmackenzie But the best cover was Funkstar Deluxe! And that's a fact!

Very cool :) Nice Mix :)

  • best version of this song ! only great

  • great song!!my sis is singing it on 6-9-09!!! :)

  • Springsteen released this in 1973, Manfred Mann rerecorded it in 1976. This song uses the Manfred Mann version of the lyrics.

Anywhere I looked, I could clearly find this out just by looking at the release dates. Everybody thinks Springsteen stole it because his version didn't even make the charts, while Manfred Mann's version hit #1. Why don't you people read a little before opening your mouths...

  • i like the intro of it and thats it :P

  • The lyrics are clearly Springsteen, but the credits for the sound has to go to Manfred Mann.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • why do these people think this is a Manfred Mann's Earth Band song? They covered it and they know they covered it. They even released their cover four years after Springsteen relseaed the original! fucking idiots!

  • Who is the idiot here?? It's true that Springsteen wrote the song but it's clearly the sample from Manfred mann's version. So think twice before you give a big mouth !!

  • Yeah, originally a song by "Manfred Mann's Earth Band"

  • btw, if you want to see manfred man, he is in this movie.. Check out 2:00 Its the man with the hat. ITS HIS ORIGINAL SONG FFS BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN STOLE IT

  • Ugh this is horrible.

    Bruce's version is better.

Also, this isn't on the keyboard, it's on the synthesiser.

  • fu naruto sob

  • That seriously made me laugh, don't judge me by my name which was made in, oh what, March 2007!

Also, Bruce Springsteen made his version first on album Welcome from Ashbury Park NJ, ,Then Manfred Mann didn't ruin or steal it, he remade it and made it a commercial Success.

If you don't believe me, compare release dates. The Roaring Silence came AFTER Welcome from Ashbury Park New Jersey.

  • can perhaps anyone send me the accords i have to play for the melody for playing it on the Keyboard???

I´ve been searching them for a loooooong time but yet i haven´t found anything and unfortunately i wasn´t able to play it on my keayboard until now :-(

    please help me!!??!!?!

  • If you want the accords, search for Manfred Man - Blined by the light on google. Then you get it, because Manfred Man originally made this!

  • I heard the dj is Danish, any Danish around to confirm that.

  • confirmed

  • Lol its MANFRED MANS song!

  • Bruce Springsteen's.

  • Richtig geiles lied mois zum feiern für alles

  • Proud to be Danish! Funkstar De Luxe has many some amazing tracks.

  • ja sq :) min svoger arbejder sammen med ham fed fyr!!

  • I agree

  • this song´s fucking awesome <33

  • It was'nt originally a Bruce song - It was Manfred Man

  • Other way round. Bruce wrote it first, Manfred Man covered it. Bruce said deuce Manfred said Douche, that's where all that came from.

  • Other way round. This exact remix is mixed from Manfred Mann's version.

  • Blinded by the light. Wrack up like a douche you are road runner in the night.

  • not even close

  • mein hintern juckt ganz doll wer kann mich am hinter kratzen ?!

  • Nádhera - taky TAKY - Zelené - for your pleasure --O:)

  • the best

  • What the hell do Manfredd and The Boss think of this?

  • that it has a good rythym maybe? and has nice funk beats?

  • great song and bad ass 1978 Z28!

  • bobbi billard is so fucking hot i could jizz in my pants by looking at her

  • Originally done by springsteen(he wrote it). And the original said "cut loose like a deuce" but Manfred Man's Earth Band changed it to "wrapped up like a deuce" . I think this version actually samples both versions

  • manfred mann's version says "REV-VED up like a deuce"

  • oh, ok. Well, that only makes slightly more sense...

  • balls

  • Wrapped up like a douche, another rotor in the night? 0:20

  • no its Revved up like duce

    Another runner in the night...

its ok ppl get mixed up by this easily XD

but ... I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG! XD

  • This song is originally by the Steve Miller Band, isn't it?

  • no i think manfred mann

  • Well the original song was performed and written by Bruce Springsteen.

  • Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat,...

  • Manfred Mann not Bruce Springsteen

  • wow, this is such a bad remix of an awesome song.

  • this song is in blow what a movie

  • You are thinking of a different song by Bruce. This cover is by Manfred Mann's Earth Band...

  • Bruce wrote it, it's on Greetings from Asbury Park, Manfred Mann covered it

  • i dont understand the video, is it about some hypnotizing manager or somethin?

  • google for youtube stream rip, and then for a program to extract the audio from a .flv file and save it as mp3 and there you go.

  • where can i find this song??? i only found manfred man version...and i crazy about this one!!!

  • Would you like a high quality version???

I have the CD, so, yeah, I can send it to you, if you want?

  • thanks that would be awesome! i'll send you a message with my mail...thanks alot!

  • i want one too, asshole

  • ya they kinda did... nah they sucked all of it out

  • They have sucked all the soul out of this song.

  • The Contract Killas remix of this is awesome!

  • Yeah, Manfred Mann's version is better than Springsteen's. Right. And you're a really good speller, too. Dumbass.

  • reminds of funky 2003 baby!!

  • jeg liker nina mer enn normallllt

    this video suxx

    peace out

  • total crap verses the MMEB'S!!

  • nice remix

  • I love Manfred Mann und Bruce Springteen. But all this shitty "remixes" suck ass. i really like the mann-version, but this is just fucking bad.

  • No.

It was originally by Bruce Springsteen, then some years later Manfred Mann made a cover version and that remix is based on the manfred mann version

  • this sucks

  • le massacre pfffff

  • is that tha mtv logo?

  • yep. mtv2

  • nice song love it..

  • This is such a good song!

  • great remix of a good song

  • remixing and noodling over an existing track does not mean you should be able to put your name next to the title.

  • Both versions were post-hippism, so why is it so featured here? Curious. And this version is God-awful, not gonna lie.

  • this is actually mannfred manns version. i'm probably the millionth person to correct it too. jump to conclusions before checking ;)

  • The original by Manfred mann's is the best one..

  • wow its great ^^

  • 68 movements :D

  • love the video

  • The word he says is Dues not douche. It is a reference to a 2 cylinder motor like those found in most motor cycles.

  • Deuce is it not?

  • "blinded by the knight rick roll'd like a douche that fell over in the night"

  • Man I love this song! Hope i never gets tired of it.

    Great song, Great song...

  • The Original is by Manfred Mann's Earth Band!

  • No, the original is by Bruce Springsteen, but it wasn't as succesful as Mann's version.

  • Sorry the original of this song is from 1970's by Manfred Mann not Springstein he came a little bit later and stole it!

  • Bruce Springstein wrote the song and released it in 1973. Manifred Mann's Earth Band done a cover version of this song and went to number 1 in 1977, so how could Bruce Springstein steal it when he wrote it?

  • WOW, I stand corrected, so surprised too! I just read on Wikipedia what you just wrote, originally written by Springsteen on his album greetings from Ashbury Park, NJ. Thanks for letting me know.

  • No problem. Sorry if i seemed a bit snotty bout it aswell lol x

  • Bruce Springsteen was on snl and he was funny lol

  • You really know your music. Like Springsteen would need to ever steal anything from Manfred Mann.

  • blinded by the douche

    ripped up like a fag

and had anal bangs all night

  • Love it!!!

  • classs

  • Great song, great video. Reminds me of the movie Blow.

  • Thanks, I made the video!

  • hey jacking from that song circus bells

  • ive been lookin for this everywhere, how come i didnt find it before hehehe

  • Check out the 2:00 mark. There is Manfred Mann, himself sitting on the couch.

  • thats actually the singer chris thompson

  • The song was originally written by Bob Dylan and the chorus was written by Ketch Secor.

  • This was not a hit for Bruce Springsteen, it was written by the Boss for Manfred Mann.

  • No, it wasn't a hit, but Bruce recorded it on his first album (the only sincere version, very Van Morrison-esque) and later sold the rights to Mann. Check it out, but don't expect anything like Mann's heavily produced arena version.

  • hahahah DOUCHE!! <3 that why i love this songg =]

  • rrrrrrrrrr

  • Blinded by the light,

    revved up like a deuce,

    another runner in the night

People if you are going to say the lyrics say them right!

  • if you want to sing the lyrics correctly then it would be "Cut loose like a Deuce another runner in the night"

  • No way in any shape, form or fashion have i heard or read these lyrics in this song!

  • Springsteen's, the real version, is "cut loose like a deuce..."

  • stupid version!

  • thats because he is quoting the original lyrics from Springsteen's version.

  • reved up like a DOUCHE

    gets me every time

  • FOOL!! Bruce Springsteen... LOL!

Manfred Man!! I even got the vinyl.. sigh!

  • rofl it sux :o

  • Why is it that MTV2 credit FUNKSTAR DE LUXE with this song, when clearly the principal instrumentals and vocals are Manfred Mann's Earth Band? This is "remix" if anything.

  • LOL fool

    i love that word :P

  • Are you people actually arguing over who originally did this song? Unbelievable! Bruce Springstein wrote this song and performed it first. Manfred Mann then began performing it soon after. Seriously, a simple internet query would resolve this issue for all of you. How funny.

  • no it wasnt. Thats a cover and youre rude.

  • it was written by bruce springsteen and performed by him first.

  • Ofcourse the song is originally by Bruce Springsteen.

  • this is the best version =]

  • Manfred Mann is actually singing the main vocals here. Just a little FYI. Thanks
