Actually, I say it was a programming error that Rare never noticed. I doubt they would put "Run, Rambi, Run!" JUST in soundtest. =/

If you listen closely to Kutlas the little dual blade pirate hes just a recycled sound of those big club guys from DK 64 but more high pitched and quicker. Thank you nintendo for being lazy lol.

I hate that fact as well. Thank god they didn't do this in the Snes version, and you also hear it in Screech's Sprint of Donkey Kong Land 2.
