@Z3R00NE recommending this game to someone is not that easy. i loved the game for it's gorgeous visuals, day/night/weather shifts and effects, atmosphere, variety of fighting in realtime like virtua fighter, exploring the area like in an rpg, quick time events for pure reaction and free roam gameplay like in gta. what you can't expect from this game is speedy full throttle story development, in 2010 it looks a bit dated and the ending leaves you with a cliffhanger but no third game. i loved it.

No. He just skipped the fight with Don Niu. Once you knock his health down you do the QTE to finish him off. The whole fight takes anywhere from 15-20 minutes.

Lan Di's real name is Longshun Zhoa. IT was revealed right at the beginning of the frist Shenmue that Lan Di's dad is Zunming Zhoa. Ryo's dad supposedly killed him (or at least that's what Lan Di believes). That's why Lan Di killed Ryo's dad. He wanted the mirror, but he could've just taken it. He killed Iwao to avenge his father's death.

I honestly think Lan Di doesn't want the "Treasure of the Qing Dynasty" or whatever the mirrors reveal. I think he just wanted the Dragon Mirror and to kill Iwao. Iwao killed his father, so he wanted revenge. Iwao also took his fathers mirror, the Dragon Mirror, so Lan Di took it back.

Well, the only thing that I can say to give the people a little more of hope with the fact of shenmue III, is that with duke nukem ocurred a similar situation, it was announced at 1997 Duke Nukem Forever and, they waited for years, until that finally, it looks like that Duke Nukem Forever is going to be relased this year, so lets just keep waiting, there is nothing more to do, we only can have hope...
