lol Anything you do to your car that affects it's performance is illegal. Almost every state has statutes of what the limits of modifications are, but the federal government doesn't allow any mods to the emissions systems of any car nowadays. So everything to go fast would be considered illegal...if you were caught.

@pier456 for production sake thats as far as they take the tuning, that's not how far those engines can be pushed. You want to talk engine size to results, Top fuel, one cylinder torques out 700+ horse power. MPR's logic that engine size is the only modification to increase speed and quickness is foolish, but your doubt in larger engines is wrong.

Acutally the Ariel came with a Cobalt SS Supercharged engine. Also the 3.0L V8 version of the Atom is the fastest version not the 2.0L.

Sorry this was a stock motor. The only thing changed was head studs and cams. Everything else is bolt ons outside of the motor. It even had stock rod bolts in it. The car on the new motor has gone a best of 9.6@156 so far.

i call bullshit, no way it ran a 10.14et on a stock block or head, and if it was really running on stock block and head it would throw a rod through that motor so quick you wouldn't even have time to say fuck. i have seen decenlty built evos here at my local track that claim 10's and they keep blowing their motors and they are running with a stock block with some cam work and new valves on the heads so i would imagine this evo in the video would do the same

as for you boondock you are an idiot, my friends dad is running his 72 nova on a street tuned motor so it has none of the race cams and any other racing type of part. his 72 nova is very streetable, he can drive it daily to and from work to the grocery store wherever he wants without having to worry, he just chooses not to drive it daily cause he has another car for that plus he doesn't want to worry about it someone denting the body or anything else cosmetically

and as for you, it took a company to buid an evo to runs 6's. so not a single part on that car can really be used for a street tune evo. the one you are talking about is a fully built race car and with it running 6's that would make it illegal to drive on the streets and don't say it is cause there is a federal law that says if a car runs 7.999et or faster in the quarter mile it is illegal for the streets.
