Nice video compilation. I liked playing this game too and to this day I still have the audio of the creatures stuck in my head whenever I see the vids to this game.

I hadn't been to the zoo in a long while before and after playing this game but... I could hardly believe how paranoid and on edge I was when I went to the zoo after playing this game. And it wasn't even Halloween when they really get the spooky stuff out there.

The only disappointment in this game for me was you get to the top of the Chrysler building in EX mode and you don't get a cool cut scene...Just a strange twist...

It's not the emulators, it's most likely because you haven't set them up properly. I for one can run this game just fine. It also can be due to your performance on your PC.

What if Squaresoft released their FMVs for free, and remastered them? It would cost little to nothing, and would be a great fan service. Any game that has FMVs of a deserving quality by Squaresoft would be released into a compilation, maybe remastered and rendered in widescreen. I doubt they deleted their files for Parasite Eve just yet.

And as for the reason I call them Squaresoft... Well, they just haven't been the same since they merged with Enix.

it was meant to be that way since Eve said "more you use that power, the more you'll become like me" but then there's the ending where Aya has her final showdown with Eve in the form of her dead sister Maya. somehow Aya with Maya's help she's able to keep her mitochondria at bay.

I agree with uch, this could have been a great series if Squaresoft stuck with it. I would have loved to see a prequel involving the "similar incident in Japan" that Maeda kept referring to. It could have even paralleled with the book or the movie. I hope 3rd Birthday makes decent sales so Squenix could consider making more games.

The P.E.series sorta reminds me of FF7. Eve is somewhat like Jenova, the whole virus and all, and Aya and Cloud have similar situations. Both are immune to the virus and are the only ones capable of stopping it.

I was actually highly disappointed with the trailer showing Aya in a wedding dress. The graphics were atrocious, she looked like a damn barbie mode 3D, nothing like the Aya I knew and loved as a kid and on until today.

However, when I saw the trailer from TGS2008, it made up for everything. Aya looks -fantastic- with new technology.
