  • didnt he beat his kids?

  • He is so like-able!I mean Bing, but Morrow is too ;-)

  • Considering the fate of all his children from his first marriage, I think we can attribute it to genetics. Their mother suffered from depression and alcoholism, as did her children, two of them committing suicide. Bing's three children from his second marriage have none of these problems, and are all relatively successful in their own right.

So yeah, in all likelihood, the tragedy that seemed to befall his children likely stems from a predisposition for depression, inherited from their mother.

  • Bing was sooo handsome! I wish there were more men like him in the world, talented, handsome, easy going and devout. God if I lived in those days I would have wanted to win his heart. Why are there no men like this anymore? What lucky women Dixie and Kathryn were. Bob Hope was just as equally wonderful!!! Love you Bing :)

  • I heard two of his sons commited suicide! does anyone know why?

  • @Opium1958

One of his sons had bipolar disorder, I would not think too much into the suicides some say it was Bing was too harsh a parent. but I readily disagree. Not our concern really.

  • @TheIrishGold I agree, its none of our business either way they have all had their face to face with God.

    It wouldn't matter now.

  • @TheIrishGold What a nice cop out that is!!!

  • @Opium1958 Two sons and a wife, go figure!!!

  • now THATS a big fuckign head! celine dion..you got competition.

  • all of his kids have huge forehead. like daddy like son

  • Ed Murrow couldnt be any stiffer if he tried..

  • I grew up watching a lot of TV...including Bing and Bob movies. LOve those old ones. But I heard that Bing could be a very cold father to his kids. Cruel even. It kinda smashed my my pre conceptions..the perfect father figure

  • Yes, this is why you can't really admire a celebrity -- who you, of course, don't really know -- for anything but their talent.

  • @MrAmazingHumanist there's no proof that he was abusive except the claims of his son Gary. His other son Philip flatly contradicts Gary's claim, saying that Bing was strict but never cruel, and that Gary made those claims to get 15 minutes of fame.

  • @MrAmazingHumanist

    not true

  • he is a amazing guy:D

  • Amazing! Could you post the entire interview?
