In my early 20's (am now 60) I drove one of these from Bexleyheath to Falmouth in a single day once, a week's holiday running around Cornwall, then drove it back. I can remember being numb and wobbly kneed, by the time I passed Brown Willy.
A 200cc (they started off as 150cc) hand start/change LE was the first motorcycle I ever owned 44 years ago. Cost me £25. Very quiet but not very fast. Very easy to work on and I still have the spares manual somewhere. Owned 2 valients after that.
