  • I can do a backbend but the first time I tried as I bended my back i had one hand supporting the back of my knee because the extra weight of that arm was making me fall over and I did it one handed first go this might help someone?

  • Dont be scared have someone keep there hands under ur back when u do a backbend so u will feel safe to do one ....

  • ur only problem is that ur heels were up. i had the same problem for about 2 weeks but my friend helped me by holding my waste so i could get used to my feet being down. i got it perfect now.

  • ahaaa.. the problem i used to have... its cuz u bend your arms when ur arms land on the floor... u mite not feel it but maybe u keep ur arms straight throu it and when u land u bend it so u arent able to hold urself... u need to strengthen ur arms ... or practice keeping them really straight... gd luck!!! :)

  • Thanks!!! Yes, I can do a back handspring and I have gotten that request before, but I think the back handspring is a skill that takes more than just watching a 5 minute video to learn. I don't want my viewers to try it, the only place someone who's never done one before to learn is at the gym on the trampoline over a barrel or with a spotter. Thank you, though, I will still take requests.

  • this was very helpful.i tried doing it b4 i watched this video and i fell on my head:( so i watched this video and tried again.i almost got it. i didnt fall.how long did it take u to learn how to do 1??

  • It takes everyone a different amount of time to learn. I have a friend who saw me doing it and tried for the first time in her life!!! and she got it perfectly. (grrrr) lol it took me a few months, i taught myself though, it should be easier for you because you have videos to help you. Try holding onto something on a wall (like a doorknor shelf, ect.) and lean back until you can see the ground. This flexes out your back and makes it alot easier.

  • i can fall back into a backbend but i just cant do the kickover part lol sorry if i got that wrong im from the uk and we call it like crabsbend lol
