all im saying is that they couldve added a bit more extras, the game was already a bit short to begin with compared to previous star oceans and part of that i think was because of the limitations of the dvd format, they couldve gotten me to buy the game twice if they added enough but i aint a trophy whore and im not playing practically the same game again twice unless there's a bigger incentive, but, congrats to people who cant afford to buy two consoles who now get to play this gem, have fun!
aside from the japanese language option and a new visual for the menu, i dont see much of an improvement besides the obvious incentive of not having to constantly swap discs thanks to blu-ray technology. i was at least expecting a slight improvement in visuals seeing as how ps3 owners had to wait a whole year longer, ya know? like bumping up the framerate a bit outside of battle and smoothing it out in battle...(to be continued)

ok the game dos have not many save point around the worlds you go to but you can deal with that its just one of those jrpgs i find that is put so well togerther you could play for hours and not not get bored and you wont even feel time pass it just that good

@resongo92 I bought the PS3 version on launch day that's how much I ♥ Star Ocean :) However I was greatly upset because I could not enjoy the Game due to small Font on a standard Def. TV because I'm near-sighted :( I put in less than 1 hour of Play time. Once I get an HDTV I will play this game non-stop until I Finish!!!! :)

Such a let down. I beat the game twice on Xbox and really wanted the original anime-styled art and Japanese voices, but I'm really not going to condone being screwed so hard by a company I loyally followed.
@JesusIsUrFriend if you think FF should go back to the old battle system, I strongly suggest you try out Lost odyssey. It's made by the classic final fantasy team, and features classic final fantasy gameplay with some twists. 4 DVDs and tons of movies to watch, I really loved the story and characters as well.
@kowru yup yup lost odyssey was a great game and had a few good tweaks to the orginal ff battle system, Lost odyssey was a great game, for some reason i just didnt want to go back and play it again, some parts just annoyed me , mostly the first disc, i didnt like the two kids in the game

@vfgjhj its soooo good .. its serious like haveing a second life .. its so beatifull .. you can do soo much .. and you can play online .. only downside = that monsters can atk u from far away .. even with close range atk and your runing away , the atks follow you ... but besides from that its good .. and u gotta wat like 5 sec after each atk ( depends on how heavy ur amour is)
What other features does International have? All this shows is the 'customizable' features. I saw what looked to be new attacks to use but is there anything like new bosses or anything else that adds to gameplay?

Great game. Loved playing it(Although I find it kinda funny that the certain lvl to beat Xemnas is around 45 or so and the level to beat Apostle of Creation.......Idk 70 maybeh.(I beat him at 83 :D)
so really nothin much different frm the 360 ver. apart frm audio and the anime option i mean really jus get it for £20 on the 360 just going to be the same if they did something like namco did with Vespira it would be worth getting like better/added story line more playable characters and equipment more side quests etc.

@kowru yup yup lost odyssey was a great game and had a few good tweaks to the orginal ff battle system, Lost odyssey was a great game, for some reason i just didnt want to go back and play it again, some parts just annoyed me , mostly the first disc, i didnt like the two kids in the game

Naser82, i feel the same way.. about FF13 having this type of battle system but even though it is your opinon on whether you like or like a game i'd say stick with the original square enix did an awsome job on that game and they will still do a good job just like this game. Ay just sayin

absolutely amazing I often seem to play it at christmas with my sister she is really good at it. I was lucky and downloaded it totally free for my ps3 here - 115 games [dot] com they have thousands and the best thing is they are all totally free oh btw 1:20 2 2:50 was fine

@vfgjhj its soooo good .. its serious like haveing a second life .. its so beatifull .. you can do soo much .. and you can play online .. only downside = that monsters can atk u from far away .. even with close range atk and your runing away , the atks follow you ... but besides from that its good .. and u gotta wat like 5 sec after each atk ( depends on how heavy ur amour is)

superb fun its often played during the summer with my cousins they are really awesome at it. utterly free for my sony ps3 here 115 games {.} com there are literally hundreds and the best thing is they are all free oh i almost forgot 2:23 was magnificent

Well not only did I get this game, I got Valkyria Chronicles, MGS4, Motor Storm and Killzone 2 (Which I'm hammering away at currently), and I bought them all in a weekend...Along with my new ps3 xP I have a lot of hardcore gaming to do.

More importantly the PS3 version of this game have Japanese voice-over and all are cramp into ONE Blu-ray disc.
About the 360 console..... I wish it could scratch all three DVD-9s XBox360 version. :D

@babe201 does your life really suck that bad that you feel the need to search for star ocean on the ps3 and post the 360 is better? its little fanboys like you who need to get there facts right.you missed out the fact the 360's star ocean comes on three discs! and the ps3 comes on one!.as ive played this game on both consoles id say star ocean for ps3 is the SAME GAME but a little bit better due to the fact you dont need to swap disc when going back to the other planets.

Great game. Loved playing it(Although I find it kinda funny that the certain lvl to beat Xemnas is around 45 or so and the level to beat Apostle of Creation.......Idk 70 maybeh.(I beat him at 83 :D)

so really nothin much different frm the 360 ver. apart frm audio and the anime option i mean really jus get it for £20 on the 360 just going to be the same if they did something like namco did with Vespira it would be worth getting like better/added story line more playable characters and equipment more side quests etc.
