I think they did pretty decent, especially for just a lens test. Once you know what lens works best, you can put in the extra effort to make it better. What's the point in busting your ass to make to an awesome video if you find out your new lens isn't right for that kind of thing and makes the video you worked so hard on crap? Give them a break.
