I cry everytime I hear this song. It's so sad at the end because the kids were so close and then she was taken away. I can't help but cry. Spice girls are amazing singers. I wish they were still around. Viva Forever is my favourite song of theirs.

It's a hard detail to notice as it's at the very end of the video and they don't focus on that fact but did you ever count how many fairies got out of that vending machine at the end ?

So I think this video mainly underlines Geri's departure of the group... losing someone dear unexpectedly but moving on. So in this video, the boy walks away and the fairies fly away, leaving someone behind in memory, but moving on.

Furthermore, while they were on tour in 2007 (according to one of my friend's testimony, although I'm not sure if it's true or not), Geri leaves the stage after singing Viva Forever since it was the last song she sang with the group... apparently it was an intense emotional moment for both the fans and the group.
