and stuff like (multi)touchscreen are inventions which are to be taken granted that the human race would develop such technologies. I don't know who did it, but I really don't think Apple. They also probably use the technique someone else discovered/invented. And combining all sorts of already existing techniques to create a whole new product, with new possibilities and potentials. You are not gonna reinvent the wheel all the time ;-).

i'm so happy since win 7, my computer finally works properly... My battery was already screwed for a while, so I can't say anything about the runtime decrease in win 7 issue..

But I really recommend everyone using vista to swap asap.

Who gives a fuck about all the graphical shit and touch screen crap. The whole point of an operating system is compatibility, practicality, functionality, reliable and customer support. All the graphical bullshit in the world is not going change what NEEDS to be changed and not what does NOT. Vista was a fine example of aesthetics over development.
