Big Wow!! I love african cichlids and got a 300 lts aquarium myself. One of my biggest wishes is to get a new one of 600-800 lts when I move from this flat. I'm not sure if such a huge weight would damage the floor. Please tell us: how did you arrange the regular water changes? I guess it's totally automated.

hey i have 29 gallon tank

i have 2 fishes 1 demansoni cichlid and 1 malawi electic yellow fish

so that is 3 inch for demansoni and electric yellow 8 inch i go by inch per gallon rule so i have 11 inche of fish so it is not over stocked right?

Hi there everybody, thanks for all your coments. I have allways belived that a natural looking tank is the more realistic and beautiful one. The rocks i use, i found in a norwegian lake. I have heard its wolkanic or something. that the water washed away the sand after many years, that made the rocks hallow etc. I have now moved to another place. have for the time being only got a 720 liter tank. but are planning to go mad again. pete from norway.

nice tank. Just got 1 suggestion why dont you put attatchments on the bottom of your powerheads and fill then with filter wool? it will polish your water and act like a prefilter.

I have a 1500L tank, just slightly bigger than your one. Are they small rocks piled up or are they just originally like that? Looks really nice. Lastly, how do you gravel clean your gravel/substrate. I have crushed coral similar to your one and im having trouble sucking up all the fish remains.
