This is unbelievable. Last week i got this link ipad2reward (dot) info from my friend. Normally i don't believe any of this shit. Just participate in some kind of iPad2 Test program and get iPad2 for free. The word "Free" doesn't really exist in this world. The day after i tried give my email their and joined the program. And you know what! A Brand New iPad2 is in my hand now. I can't really believe this. And you don't have to believe me. But 3 friends of mine even got that thing before me.
You can make this sure by creating a pool of 2 XenServers with the same CPU class, i dont know how this method is names but it works the same as VMware Vmotion. When one server fails (hardware fail) all VM's will be directly, while powered on, moved to the other XenServer and will stay running. For storage i suggest getting a SAN, or when too expensive, a storage server with RAID5. Besides this all, you will also need to have a DC (Domain Controller).
Not really necessary to do it like this. For high availability its nice to have two XenServers running. But DO NOT run 2 DDC's (Dedicated Desktop Controllers), 2 Web interface servers and 2 Provisioning servers just for your high availability, its nice to have 2 DDC's/PVS servers for performance (load balancing), but its not necessary at all for this kind of environment. You want high availability? Than make sure the layer underneath is taking care of this.
I don't get it - you sell those connected services and servers and tell the customer - oh well, they might fail eventually so why don't u just buy two of those?
I mean this is the same as - buy two laptops because if the one fails you are not going to be able to work, or buy two dedicated servers ...etc.
Don't get the Idea - if you sell something you have to make sure that it runs at least 99% of the time securely or am I missing something?
Thank you for this excellent video. I just have a hard time understanding the different products that Citrix provides and quite frankly its very confusing. Is there a clean layout of ALL the products that citrix provides stating what it can and cannot do?
I have a Problem with that as well - the website is very messy and the pricing is very different, and they don't seem to be able to explain what what is...
