As you can imagine, I left the bulk of Tool's material out, as most of it was ruined as soon as the studio engineers and producers mixed in that fine, metal-like music with that aforementioned whiny emo crap.

Try "Parabol" and "Parabola" by tool. It's a single track divided in two, kind of like Lost Keys + Rosetta Stoned, and the intro is ambient with guitar based elements, with the second half being kind of hard but with the same themes like this.
