  • I'll respond to that arrogant asshole Australian tiasha99 what a jerk. That is so typical of Australians. Here is a man who goes out fishing for halibut and catches a really nice fish and you have to say condescending crap about his catch. Wow you suck.

  • @cuff1957 The chart indicates that a 74 in. Hali weights in @ 214.8 and a 76 in. Hali weights in @ 234.0 so a 75 in. Hali would be in the 220.0 range. She could have made a mistake in the measurement , regardless it was still a nice hali and they did a good job getting it in.Way to go.

  • @cuff1957 agreed, not even close to 220, maybe 120.

  • @travak24 i agree!!

  • ahahh fuck up

  • wat best bait to use to catch it?

  • squid

  • oh hmmm but i tryed only got shark n ray

  • i caught all kinds of fish with squid.

  • u think a 7 ft pole can take a halibut and ray? lol cuz a 2 ft shark bend my pole bout 60 some degree

  • yeah

  • cool

  • damn. nice fish

  • when i used to live in Rupert, me dad, my uncle, and i would halibut fish all the time, i caught one about that size, and it was like..55-65 pounds. (it tasted amazing though)

  • If that fish is 75" like he said, it would mean the guy at who caught it is about 9' tall and the beam on that boat is 8' or so. a 220 halibut is almost 6'6" , and for just a second around 2:00, the fish is laying full length across the deck. That's how i estimated the beam and 9' height of these super tall humans.

  • 60-70 lb at most ,sad

shake the big unless hooked to good

    milllions of eggs

    over 40 lb mostly ladys

  • WTF!!!!

  • that is NOT 220 pounds

    what a joke...

not near the size of a 200 pounder

    think bout it

OMG are people that naieve and stupid

    BY THE WAY...

the big halibut are the reproducers

what a bunch of fucking idiots and i hope they STOP all sport fishing for Halibut

let all those donkeys think about OUR fishing stocks

  • lol thats more like 90 pounds i have been fishing for couple years i caught 230 pound one it was over 6 foot tall so dont try to fool people

  • true dat

  • Ummm BS... Real fisherman EAT the big ones. Despite what tons of people, even alaskan fisherman want to tell you, big halibut taste the same as little halibut. I have been catching and eating them for 13 years.. yeah.. 200 tastes the same as a 30 pounder.. in my opinion (which is only my opinion) Trust me.. the commercial waste catch is more than the charter guys catch all year. Thats the catch that they bring up dead and waste.... Individuals shouldn't worry about keeping a big fish

  • haha you're an idiot buddy, real fisherman do release the big ones not because the eating factor. It's because they're old and ancient and deserve to be released.

  • only in fresh water ponds like you fish. in the ocean theres billions of big old fish and sport fishing has never been able to make a dent in that.

  • real fisherman release the big ones

  • i went ocean fishing for my first time i caught a 70 puond halibut

  • is it over 22 in.?

  • no. i don't think so

  • yea, it is. might evn be thirty! dumbass

  • Dick Cheney....to funny

  • nice fish, but its over 200

  • You went fishing with Dick Cheney cool

  • YUMMY!!!
