Another thing that helps to tame Snowflake is to toss the stake onto the white tile. After I toss one that lands on the tile and I jump up outta reach, she seems to go for the steak. Hope this helps.

you have to throw the steak in front of snowflake's path when snowflake is charging at you, this is Very improtant, do not hit snowflake with it and don't move. you can still jump kick zombies away. and you must throw it before snowflake get read to Maul/rip you apart. if you move too far/much snowflake might forget about the steak and go after you instead.
