Since you are Brazilian I'm not sure if you have the holiday or not, but April 1st is known as April Fools where people try and get someone else to believe something that isn't true. This entire sentence is itself a belief. And beliefs are not always illogical or not based on evidence so your generalization is false. You can't not believe in things. Everyone has beliefs. They are a basic part of human reasoning.

I actually agree for once with Matt it is a freedom of speech issue, there is plenty of speech that attacks Christians and probably others faiths also but it hasn't stopped happened yet. @kafkazinho Actually I was wrong. I didn't hear the first video right, but it was explained better in the 3rd part. The bumper sticker said that April 1st was atheist day. Since you are Brazilian I'm not sure if you have the holiday or not, but April 1st is known as April Fools where people try and get someone else to believe something that isn't true. So it's basically saying that Atheists are fools for believing something that isn't true.

I think the language used by Dawkins is worst than calling someone a fool, and his opinions according to him are based on the mantel of science and reason. Time and Time again you hear why Atheists "Believe" there is no God" The key word is "Believe" As with other false religions the key word is "Believe" So the next time you see another Atheist video watch it in its true content. Somewhere in all there videos they tell you why they "Believe" what they do in one argument or another. You can't 'reject' a belief so much as you hold a belief that is contrary to that belief such as in said examples. Defining yourself via what you don't believe and making that a positive statement is a logical fallacy. That is why you don't see people who aren't firemen identifying themselves as "non-firemen" because that would be retarded. Simple enough?

But then to say that implies I believe no gods exist is foolhardy. I reject 'belief' entirely as it has no basis in logic or evidence, but rather in what one would want to be true. I see no evidence at all for existence of any gods, so as far as I'm concerned none exist. Belief is not part of the equation.

This entire sentence is itself a belief. And beliefs are not always illogical or not based on evidence so your generalization is false. You can't not believe in things. Everyone has beliefs. They are a basic part of human reasoning.

This is why I like Matt Dillahunty and feel that even creationists should show a pretty high level of respect for him.

@13smitbr Agreed, however it isn't for him that I argue, but for those that read the comments later...however unlikely that is that someone does, or how few. It's never a waste, in my opinion at least, to rebuke their claims if there is a chance someone later will see and understand their flawed logic and why it's wrong.

And for the sake of argument, say this all happened, how does it prove your god? Does it also prove Allah and Thor and Zeus? So what did they teach you in that school, probably not love but rather that you have to do what they say or go to hell. If they did their job right, they would have taught you about the real reason for salvation and why Christ came. Though no one can force a beliefe on another it has to come from the heart. Money gives you the ability to purchase physical things to any degree, Faith gives one the ability to understand God and have a relationship with Him, not just book knowledge.

My school did their job perfect, they taught facts, because for your information, it is now illegal to teach religion as fact. Maybe one of the thousands (or all of them) from the Buddhist religion? Perhaps it is Thor or Wotan or Zeus or Apollo... Exactly how are you to know which God is real? The only reason you believe in your God is primarily where you were born. You would be practicing a different religion depending on your birthplace.

Also, why would a 'perfect' God make it so we can choke. If we were made in his image and we can choke then so can he. If he can choke then he certainly isn't perfect. Dolphins can't choke because they don't breathe and eat with the same orifice. Shouldn't we have been afforded the same consideration?
