  • Jericho/Genesis Sunfire is on 0/0/0 diet :)

  • HaHa ..... at 4min that looks like so much fun. Awesome vid!

  • O MAI GAWD, you have me convinced. Never in the known history of mankind have we witnessed meat-eating people with healthy looking bodies and physique. That's it. My life is over. I've been living a lie. Fruit wins.

  • Some of those females looked so scrawny. but "Drea" looked like a dude (if that was a woman)!

  • @hotdrumchick funny I always hear comments like that from fat chicks who get intensly jelous when seeing perfect females with hot ass bodies like those in this video.

  • @23Rottweilers Since you don't know me or what I look like. I won't leave childish replies to equally childish commenters such as yourself. God Bless.

  • No doubt you can achieve lean mass living a vegan lifestyle, but it pales greatly in comparison to the physique of those dieting with various, organic (grass-fed) meats.

  • very nice :) EAT FRUIT!!! :D

  • 3.45

i need to get that level

  • @VonLeachim to*

  • im sorry.. but you could do a similar video on the Atkins diet.

  • @MDOY79 or any diet where exercise is involved...the funny thing is that here are a few dozen people who eat fruit and are in shape....should someone make a video of a few thousand people who eat like shit and are ripped and sexy? propaganda.

  • @amusingisthedawn Good point.

  • @MDOY79 Why pumping out words just to hurt yourself? You clearly do not know these regimes. Or, again:

"Better to remain quiet and be THOUGHT a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

  • @nityanandi Nice, a bible quote. That used to be one of my faves. Even as an Atheist I love that proverb!

  • what's the name of the singer artist please?? He's great.

  • Advertisement fail: "Cut down a bit f stomach fat every day by ever eating these 5 foods" with a banana depicted. Haha.

  • what a great creation!!!!!!!!! Thank you soooooooooo much you guys to have organized and put all these together, what a great work, love you all! I wish I can be with you next time you make it!

  • or like many, I can get jacked on steroids and peddle whatever fad diet is hot these days

  • just be sure to incorporate adequate amounts of vegetables, not just friut..that's not healthy for an extended period of time

  • @andrewscottclark let people experiment and take responsibility for their own body please. No stress is the way to live :)

  • Don't get swept away by the hype. You are better off eating fruits, veggies and nuts than pizza and doughnuts, but that doesn't mean it's the ideal diet.

The people in this video are mostly young folk. Vegans suffer serious health problems after a few years. How long have they been vegans? Lots of vegans cheat and eat meat in secret. Around half of vegan women become infertile, vegan males have low testosterone.

Check the video 80/10/10 Warning. Long term, this will trash your health.

  • @AppleSouffle1 Totally Agree

  • @AppleSouffle1

LOL at the part where you said lots of vegans cheat and eat meat in secret.

I think if people eat meat that they should balance it out with fruit and veggies. Some people eat meat all the time and hardly no fruit or veg.

  • @AppleSouffle1 ...please don't make up lies. Many of these people have been Vegans for many years...some for more than 10/15 years. Vegans normally look a lot younger than meat eaters, so you can't judge by looks alone. As for your infertility claims, please provide your sources as your claims smell of propaganda. Also, as a woman who has slept with both vegan and meat eating males, I can assure you that Vegans do indeed have more stamina and have longer and harder erections.

  • @AppleSouffle1 Gotta agree with you, Apple. I loved everything about this diet. I really did. I felt so freaking amazing... for awhile, then my health tanked, as many others do after following the diet for a number of years. I had meat cravings daily for the last 2 years. Literally, daily. I was taught to "ignore" these cravings. I was actually craving carbs? Well, no, I was actually craving NUTRIENTS, since I was so grossly deficient in a lot of things. Peace to all -- be careful!

  • (9) Thus far your arguments have focused only on a minor part of our presentation.

  • (7) Are you philosopher specializing in the philosophy of science? Who are you to determine which avenues are appropriate for scientific discovery? You conveniently avoid an enormous body of evidence, linking high fat intake with obesity and diabetes; how practical.

  • (6) Who mentioned anything about meat vs processed meat? Cherry picking information, merely exposes insecurities. The study concludes:

“..In conclusion, total and saturated fat intake was associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes..”

Do you agree with the interconnected axis: high dietary saturated fat-obesity-diabetes?

  • (5) 3) “Habitual dietary intake and insulin sensitivity in lean and obese adults.”

    4) Nelson et al “Diet composition related to body fat in a multivariate study of 203 men”

and Dreon et al “Dietary fat:carbohydrate ratio and obesity in middle-aged men.”

  • (4) 1) Cnop et al.“Inverse relationship between cytotoxicity of free fatty acids in pancreatic islet cells and cellular triglyceride accumulation” and Kharroubi et al. “Free fatty acids and cytokines induce pancreatic beta-cell apoptosis by different mechanisms: role of nuclear factor-kappaB and endoplasmic reticulum stress”

    2) Boden et al. “Mechanisms of Fatty Acid-induced Inhibition of Glucose Uptake” and Shulman “Cellular mechanisms of insulin resistance”

  • (3) ALL factors linked to high dietary fat intake (wherefore basically all nutrition institutes in the world recommend primarily low fat diets: WHO, EU, etc.):

  • @choleva1985 I'm finding that independent studies lean more towards higher intake of raw fats like omega 3's and saturated fats from organic eggs and coconut. The official institutes like the WHO, or Health Canada are controlled by big pharma who has been manipulating scientific literature for more than a century. 80/10/10 sounds really great, but everyone keeps citing government funded studies like The China Study or Ancel Keys nonsense. I would love some links to independent 80/10/10 studies.

  • @fyafyta13 I was talking to a young lady the other day, studying nursing, I mentioned how well people do on just fruit, and she said that they would end up diabetics, because of all the sugar. This is what she is learning. I think we are a long way from beating all the bullshit out there regarding nutrition. I said to her, but some of them have been on this diet for 10-15-20 years and they're okay, she replied, and they're are smokers that can make the same claim. That is true.

  • (2) (1) a degenerated pancreas, (2) compromised cellular ability to uptake glucose, (3) an impairment of insulin sensitivity and (4) obesity.

  • (1)"And what are the supporting principles of low-fat over low-carb/high-fat for glycemic control?”

You remain obtuse; frivolously spewing petulance. The issue of temporary Glycemic control is irrelevant; normalizing the function of the body empowers the individual, instead low-carbohydrate diet promote indefinite 'management' of the disorder. The mechanisms underlying the diabetes disorder:

  • wait a year or two see you how feel. one diet or lifestyle does not work for every single person. great cleanse, but what works today doesnt always work tomorrow, listen to your body and always be open minded.. ther is no cure all. life is about exerpience and balance and happiness and love.

  • Finally, remember, we are proposing a mechanism whereby we can reverse diabetes; simply suppressing the symptoms of the disorder; by avoiding carbohydrates; appears crude and shortsighted.

  • @choleva1985 "...simply suppressing the symptoms of the disorder; by avoiding carbohydrates; appears crude and shortsighted..."

You cannot reverse diabetes, you can only control it. ALL science shows this true.

Please read the book by Dr. Richard K. Bernstein, "The Diabetes Solution" and tell me how he's wrong... go for it.

  • (5) Our library of scientific studies is far from exhausted; if you require further clarification please due ask.

  • @choleva1985 "Our library" ....

... and whose library is this? Which anti-meat vegan-propaganda agency are you working for?

You better get to that library again, because everything you've shown either disproves your point or has nothing to do with it.

Please explain WHY dozens of studies done as RCT's (not observational studies or articles) show low-carb vastly superior for glycemic control, weight-loss, heart-health, etc. when compared to low-fat diets? Can you explain that?

  • (4)The mechanisms underlying insulin resistance/diabetes are clear: high fat diets hampers sugar metabolism, degenerates pancreatic function, promotes insulin insensitivity and glucose intolerance.

You keep asking whether I have 'actually read the studies': do you actually read the studies? Are you exposing latent insecurities by accusing others of what appears to be your modus operandi.

  • (3) rapp et al. (2010) “A Plant-Based Diet for Type 2 Diabetes : Scientific Support and Practical Strategies; is a review, however does that make the surmised scientific findings any less valid? The review was posted since many findings supporting the principles of a low fat plant based diet are detailed; for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

  • @choleva1985 "...many findings supporting the principles of a low fat plant based diet are detailed..."

And what are the supporting principles of low-fat over low-carb/high-fat for glycemic control? All science shows NONE. Please use scientific studies, not your made-up ideas.

  • (2) This is because high enzyme activity is indicative of high amounts of saturated fats (and monounsaturated), and you must be aware of the famous interconnected axis: high saturated fat-obesity-diabetes. If not, here is some research for you: van Dam (2002) “Dietary Fat and Meat Intake in Relation to Risk of Type 2 Diabetes in Men”

  • @choleva1985 again, a study you didn't read. Here's the quotes from the study:

"...Frequent consumption of processed meats may increase risk of type 2 diabetes..."

"...In 6 years of follow-up in this cohort of male health professionals, we did not observe significant associations between major types of fat and risk of type 2 diabetes ..."

so their conclusions were in regards to processed meat, which other research shows unhealthy.

There is NO research supporting your argument.

  • (1) In Mandon (1988) “Effect of high carbohydrate and high protein diets on microsomal fatty acid composition, "fluidity" and delta 6 desaturation activity in kidney and lung”

the study shows high carbohydrate decrease delta-6 desaturase activity, whilst high protein increase activity. Insulin resistance, and in particular NIDDM, are associated with increased delta-6 desaturase acitivty.

  • Jericho Sunfire is not a Rawfoodist. He don't eat anything. Is a breatharian.

  • I found this page after searching when I found out Morris Krok the long time fruitarian and famous author died of cancer at the relatively young age of 74. There doesn't seem to be too many long lived fruitarians. There have been many who have died young. Most, if not all, of the people in this video are under 70. I would like to find out how many people can survive on 80/10/10 or a low fat, fruit based diet past the age of 80. And yes, I know of Essie Honibal. Show me more example please.

  • @perpub

The founder of veganism died at the age of 96. You have no argument, kiddo. Not to mention, what is the point of living up to 100+ if you cannot even get your ass off your chair or walk?

  • @sugarmelonchewgumbon I would appreciate your being civil in your reply to my post and desist from the personal attacks. I am not stupid or high. I am a vegan live foodist, but I eat simple whole cooked food on occasion. I have been interested in the living foods lifestyle since 1988. I have been to many seminars, festivals, and raw events. I know there are different perspectives concerning how to eat raw. Also, my point was not in regards to meat eating vs vegetarianism.

  • @perpub

"A large 15-year survey that investigated in the United Kingdom the association between diet and age-related cataract risk found a progressive decrease in risk of cataract in high meat eaters to low meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. Vegans were found to have a 40 percent lower risk of developing cataract compared with the biggest meat eaters" - ^ Appleby P.N. et al.”Diet, vegetarianism, and cataract risk” American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2011 93(5):1128-35

  • @perpub

"A 2006 study by Barnard found that in people with type 2 diabetes, a low-fat vegan diet reduced weight, total cholesterol, and LDL cholesterol, and did so to a greater extent than the diet prescribed by the American Diabetes Association" - Dr. Neal Barnard.

  • @sugarmelonchewgumbon

In regards to the Barnard study - have you not noticed that 1) the ADA diet is high-carb and unhealthy for diabetics and 2) Neither Barnard nor any other vegan MD has tested against low-carb diets, only other high-carb diets?

BTW the Barnard diet eliminated all refined carbs/sugars. The ADA diet doesn't.

low-carb wins universally in EVERY study vs. low-fat for diabetes/glycemic control. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

  • @perpub

"The 12-year Oxford Vegetarian Study of 11,000 subjects recruited between 1980 and 1984 indicated that vegans had lower total- and LDL-cholesterol concentrations than did meat-eaters. Death rates were lower in non-meat eaters than in meat eaters; mortality from ischemic heart disease was positively associated with eating animal fat and with dietary cholesterol levels." - "The Oxford Vegetarian Study

  • @perpub

"People avoiding meat are reported to have lower body mass index than those following the average Canadian or American diet. From this follows lower death rates from ischemic heart disease, lower blood cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, and lower rates of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and prostate and colon cancers." - "Position of the American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada: vegetarian diets

  • @perpub

I mean, should I go on? Plus, you referred to the age of 74 "as relatively young age." Are you high or just plain stupid? Isn't that enough evidence that we don't need to consume animals? Not to mention, one's longevity is also affected by environmental factors (stress, socioeconomic class, income and so on) so you can minimize the effect of certain factors as best as you can but you have limited control over environmental factors.

  • @sugarmelonchewgumbon The point I am making is in regards to a fruit based low fat or 80/10/10 diet and longevity. I am not saying it's right or wrong. I agree that longevity is determined by other causes. 74 is old on the SAD, but relatively young as a raw foodist. The track record on living to an advanced old age has not been good for fruitarians. I wish I could be proven wrong. I've come to the point of valuing evidence and facts in regards to the reversal of disease.

  • @perpub

22.000 Americans die EVERYDAY (NOT of old age) but from heart disease and stroke, and you're gonna sit there and claim vegans don't lead happy, long, healthy lives? When was the last time you heard someone dying from eating too much fruit and vegetables?

  • @sugarmelonchewgumbon BTW every 'study' and 'fact' you cite regarding "meat-eaters" is one that is actually "SAD-eaters" not just meat eaters.

When the SAD includes high levels of refined/processed carbs/sugars and refined/processed oils, saying the issue is "meat" is pretty convenient, though scientifically unsound. And unproven.

In fact, HEALTHY (non-SAD) diets that INCLUDE meat are universally better for cancer, heart-disease, etc. than vegan/veg diets.

  • What is the proof here? One can lose weight by eating less? One can have less muscle mass while on a Raw Vegan diet?

  • @604josh I guess you missed the bodybuilders in there- blinders on much?

  • I think these people have a very difficult time putting on muscle mass.

  • @dbztiki Did you miss the pictures of Charlie Abel, a bodybuilder?

  • How do you know if they follow the diet. You posted a video with pictures of people that supposedly follow a certain diet, but fact is you don't know for sure. Maybe they Supplement heavily

  • @dbztiki lol. way to not watch the vid.

  • @hilldominator27 Hey dipshit anyone can use supplements. And you have no idea if those people really follow the diet so stfu.

  • @dbztiki Not necessarily. Not all people train the same, and even then, not everyone has the same goals, some might want to put on some muscle, some might want to just stay lean, etc. Just because most of them are skinny, you can't say they all "have a very difficult time putting on muscle mass."

  • A lot of these people look ill and emaciated. 80/10/10? Are you serious? You need fats to absorb and transport vitamins, and no way are you getting that done with 10% calories from fat. 10% protein from vegetable sources? You'll actually utilize 7%. From a dietician's standpoint, this is not a healthy balance.

  • I'm a Vegan, but I try to balance everything out to get all the nutrients I need to keep my body functioning perfect. The 80/10/10 is suspicious to me, it's definitely WAY better than the standard american diet no doubt, I just don't see how the high amounts of sugar can be good in the long run though. However can't argue with the results that it will slim people down, I think if people use this as their approach for fitness they should also do outside the book research to make the safe switch.

  • all your video shows is that people on the 80/10/10 diet are thin, and you just happen to have put together a montage of people that are active while on the diet. it does not prove that it is a healthy lifestyle

  • Just a Q re "food combining", how bout eating it all, the 80-10-10 combo, in one salad? I don't mean a day's worth all gluttoned down the gullet in one sitting, but a fruit salad with tender leafy greens, with good oils & vinegar. & the music, BTW, is Michael Franti & Spearheads, Everybody Ona Move off the album Yell Fire!

  • What about Anne Osbourne?

  • Whats the song name? Awesome. Great video too

  • Love this video... :-)

  • jep not only vegan, you should stay with whole raw food and if you want eat meat- do it raw or dry it in the sun ;-) but you'll be better with fruits and vegetable. Personaly I've lost a lot of my muscles wat I've build as a Meathead Bodybuilder, but I've got plenty of strength. And now with 40 years I am in the best shape I've ever been and freaking strong to. Just stay with the whole food and only eat when you realy hungry, not by time schedule. Chew your food till it's liquid bevor swallow.

  • Why are guys so obessed about building muscle and having a huge body? I love being thin and wouldn't want to be any bigger than I already am. I am happy with the way that I am. Health is more important to me than having big muscles etc.. The fastest runners in the world are kenyans, ehtiopians, etc.. They are extremely thin. There are pros and cons to everything.

  • @adkpinecone The fastest runners in the world are sprinters (big muscle bound dudes). I understand and agree with what you are saying and their is nothing wrong with being thin and at the same time their is nothing wrong with being big and muscular. :)

  • @adkpinecone For many people, majority I'd say, developed muscles are sexy. Its also a source of pride to have the ability to move heavy weights, the same way that people with tiny muscles probably get excited about reducing seconds on a distance race. And for most physical activity and sports, strength is an advantage. Not rocket science here to figure out why muscles are important to people.

  • comparing vegan athletics to normal meat-eaters.

    cool story BRO

  • is raw vegan better than regular vegan?

  • @Air2dig24 Well what do you mean by regular vegan? I'm a regular vegan (but I'm slowly trying to get more fresh fruits into my family's house on a regular basis) but I still eat processed food. I do feel healthier than before, when I was eating meat and diary, but not all -that- great. In order for a "regular" vegan to be healthy, they need to make their dishes revolve around fruits and veggies! I know that whenever I eat even homemade vegan cookies/cakes, I still feel like crap.

  • @Air2dig24 It's not just vegans who need to focus on eating tons of fruits and veggies, it's EVERYONE! :) Plus there is no downside to eating a raw food diet. Making your meals is wayy easier and faster (like how hard is it to blend something?) and uses less energy as well! (Since you don't use a stove, microwave, sandwich maker, etc.) Also, raw food meals are focused on fresh fruits and veggies, instead of processed meals. So it ends up being very healthy easily.

  • @Air2dig24 I'd say, try the raw vegan diet out and feel free to inbox me on your progress since I'm beginning to go raw as well! (: Oh and on a side note to anyone else reading this, I feel wayy better after eating bananas vs. homemade vegan (aka cruelty-free) cookies and cakes. And these both contain lots of sugar. It just goes to show that the simpler food is better (and cheaper) for you. xP Mother Nature gave us this for a reason! :D

  • Just gonna state the obvious. Not to take away from the people highlighted here, but there are more ripped, more athletic people on a plethora of other diets. Raw Vegan world record holders, raw vegan supermodels? Didn't think so. Athleticism is not the angle to take when promoting this diet because the BEST athletes are not on this diet. Maybe if you showed the longest lived people were on this diet you'd make a case for longevity...but then again the longest lived humans aren't on this diet

  • Who is the 'Emery' guy @ 1.30 ?

  • WOW!

  • Matthew Armstrong does not follow 80 10 10.

  • What means figures 80/10/10 ???

  • @mun155 80/10/10 is where a person on a raw vegan diet gets 80% of their calories from carbs, 10% from fat, and 10% from protein.

  • I like the argument that the great apes eat mostly fruit. Could it have been a divergence in diet that led to an evolutionary seperation? If you want to take a few steps back down the evolutionary ladder to the intelligence of a chimp, then be my guest and eat how they eat. They have a lot of energy too what with all that swinging around they do! impressive stuff.

  • These people don't look very healthy...

I mean yeah you can lose weight eating vegan, but that's because your body is falling apart.

Carbohydrates are what make people fat.

Eat lots of pastured and free range animal foods.

Tons of fat, and high quality protein with seasonal local vegetables and fruits and you'll be eating what we've been eating for mmmmmm 2.5 million years.

Eat anything but our ancestral diet and you're taking a big risk.

  • @StopTheRobbery2 No No don't tell them that encourage them. More Meat for the rest of us :). I Laugh at these stick figures where is the muscle especially the vegan body builder. Some look like they are bordering on anorexia. But please people do the vegan 80/10/10 because I love animals as well they taste delicious.

  • @StopTheRobbery2 Carbohydrates are what make people fat? All they eat are carbs. What are you saying...

  • @StopTheRobbery2 What a moron you are...

  • Im gonna watch this video when I'll crave cooked junk food!!

  • I would LOVE to eat fruit all day. Unfortunately 30 bananas in one day gives me serious intestinal pain and loose stools. I have tried. Many times. Same results. Fruit diet certainly not for everyone.

  • What beautiful people!

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!

Wish this vid existed 3 years ago.

    Yeah! Pump

    Pump

Pump the Iron. ....and don't stop

  • do you think animal lovers that eat meat are Hippocrates??

  • @Air2dig24 yes

  • Can everyone on here who is doing well on a vegan diet please pleeeeeese look into the subject of biochemical individuality. really interesting subject.

  • Hey, this stuff works (80/10/10). How many 80/10/10'ers have every contracted type II diabetes?? What is this middle ground?? Isnt middle ground just another name for "half-ass". Either you are healthy or not. Pick one.

  • @gawfboy I guess middle ground would be having muscles and strength. Not "strength" as the guy at the end puts it, but real strength.

  • pure shit

  • @Asabado thyats what the guy in this vid eat

  • I'm raw vegan and I sure aint going back to how I was..... I've never had so much energy! LIFE IS GOOD! Spread the word!!!!!!! ;)

  • I love Mike Franti and his message is great. His um "rap style" sounds a bit like foghorn leghorn meets vanilla ice but great message.

  • I don't understand. sure you can get get a reasonable body or reasonable athletic ability with this vegan diet. SO? you know why they haven't made a video like this for omnivores (how the human body should function) because it would literally be thousands of hours long. perhaps millions. well done on getting in shape but stop acting so self righteous about it

  • GoesToTheGymMan

There is a bit more than ironic humor in you claiming humans are omnivores yet dismiss those who choose a plant diet.

There is no self-righteousness, you came to this video that is here to show a vegan diet CAN result in an athletic build. Robert Cheeke,Brendan Brazier, Scott Jurek, Carl Lewis are but a few vegan athletes in tip-top shape. If its roid-abusing 300+lb bodybuilders you're looking for this isn't the video to visit

  • @TheTvrulesthenation Firstly humans are omnivores. we've evolved over many many years. ask any doctor nutritionist (who isn't biased by either extreme). Im not dismissing anyone im telling you what a human is.

secondly i came to this video out of curiosity. and you do realise there is a middle ground between roided abusing 300lb bodybuilders and painfully skinny vegan athletes. you know that middle ground where the rest of the world exists. in which athletes can truly flourish.

  • GoesToTheGymMan

You still don't get it do you? An omnivorejust means you can survive from both & plant and meat matter, not that both must be consumed. Vegans clearly do well off a plant based diet, the same cannot be said for a high meat diet.

If you are calling the likes of Robert Cheeke & Carl Lewis skinny vegan athletes then that speaks volumes

  • @GoesToTheGymMan couldnt agree more

  • I did this diet and failed.

Could it be that, MAYBE . . . different diets work for different people? The paleo people have videos just like this too, as do the Ornish people, the Atkins people, and the balanced diet people.

Different diets work for different people.

  • @123gwf I thought I was failing because I gained 10 pounds the first week. This was because I was eating bananas and fruits. Well bananas contain potassium which makes you retain water. Which is a good thing because I didn't realize how dehydrated i was. I basically gained 10 pounds of water. Well here I am 4 months later and 25 pounds lighter and probably even more so if you consider I am holding 10 more pounds of water than before.

  • @danie123182 So?

My whole point was that different diets work for different people. So you found a diet that works for you . . . so what? What is that supposed to prove about everyone else?

Please don't respond, I'm sick and tired of people trolling me on this issue.

  • This video made my day, despite all the haters <3 Go Vegan People!

  • @bergrud read my list of people I made for the other fool. That should answer your stupid question. To show you someone. Do some research before you come on here with stupidity

  • @jdo9700 I'm through out some names here. Albert Einstein, Anthony Robins, Michael Clark Duncan, Leonardo da, just to name a few. All vegans. Tell me Einstein, Leonardo, or tony Robins has or had any mental problems . Your probably some fat over weight person sitting at your computer all alone eating your McDonald's hamburger wishing you could be like these people

  • @iceland707 Einstein was never vegan, though ate vegetarian near the end of his life.

Michael Clarke Duncan is also not vegan. He eats a vegetarian diet.

There is no evidence whatsoever DaVinci was a vegan - the ideals of veganism didn't exist yet and it's extremely unlikely anyone in the 15th century could have been able to live life without the use of any animal products.

It's quite possible, however, when viewing historical accounts, that he was a vegetarian.

  • jdo9700... wow I've never read anything more stupid. that is all :)

  • All I see here is ultramarathoner, fitness instructor, etc. Guess what, if you spend half your life exercising, you're gonna be fit and look like these guys no matter what you eat.

  • every skinny person looks like they have musles. Every man should be able to lift himself on an atlethic degree. And no one here had real musles that looks fit. What kind of proof lies here. Other than people who work out gets more cardio working for them.... Eat real food humans are flesh eaters and we actually need it. If not show me one vegan with a real strongman body and no mental issues wich most over 1 year vegans have....

  • @bergrud Why take it so seriously? It's a personal journey for many. I enjoyed meat and good health for 40 years. So did my father until his cancer, heart valve op and then stroke. In this day and age of being born a consumer, I think it's wiser to question everything. I went vegan because I saw the way animals are treated. It so happens I've also improved in various physical ways but I also cut out other foods too. Google Foodicine. The people on that page seem to suggest benefits. Good luck.

  • Zinc deficiency right there, brains have all gone out of wack. These vegans acting like animals too much copper in their central nervous system. Don't forget zinc is needed for insulin production with all that fruit you need a lot of insulin. This vegan shit is like a religion something emotional wrecks attach there selves to for strength and belonging then portray themselves as being the happiest people ever. Trust me they are not its an act. every vegan i met have mental issues.

  • @JDO9700 Maybe u r right. The only mental issues or sensitivity my father had were AFTER his cancer and stroke. I wonder if there had been a better way? There are many weird people on YouTube, but people go out of their way to advocate something they truly believe in. When you get good health results, it feels like the greatest gift and power to be able to pass on that experience. (However true it might be.) It might be the meat or the other stuff people stop eating - but something truly helps.

  • girl at 0:33 eattin out her everyday would cause u to gain weight but it would be so worth it

  • 2:24 is that a leather sectional? lol

  • Fruit are cleansers, Vegetables are healers...we need Both in proportion to our daily routine, seasonal changes, metabolism, blood, stressors, etc. Everybody is different. Liked the video and appreciate the message. Thanks.

  • i was doing the 811 diet for a month after doing juice feast (be your potential) for a month. And i just couldnt afford it anymore. I had to resort back to cooked vegan food. When I have enough money and earn more income I'll be more able to afford the large quantities of fruits and veggies. As a college student its hard to spend like $15 a day on food.

  • @chentingting Well done, dear heart. (Btw, 811 should be less expensive than veggie juicing I reckon)

  • I have diabetes and if I ate fruit the way you recommend I'd die. So while that may work for some it won't work for all.

  • @wayne1955 Why would you die?

  • @00troubadour Because all that sugar would drive up so high I'd die. Diabetics can't eat a lot of sugar in any form according to my doctors. I can only have fruit in very small amounts once a day such as 8 grapes or a half a banana or a small apple so I just don't bother with it at all.

  • @wayne1955 What do you eat, then? Low carb (sugar) diets are by necessity high fat diets, because you can't forget that protein calories will just convert to glucose in the abscence of carbs. Your doctor is pretty much suggesting you live your entire life in ketosis.

  • @rpmangin Basically I can't eat much of anything that is high in carbs as they convert to sugar in the blood and I can't eat a lot of fruit due to the natural sugar in them. It's really a pain in the ass. Anything with sugar I can't eat and anything with carbs in it I can't eat because of carbs converting to sugar in the blood. It's a pretty bad situation but what can ya do?

  • @wayne1955 Can you eat avocados, coconuts, nuts, and seeds (primary source of calories is fat, but there are SOME sugars/starches present)?

  • @rpmangin I can only eat those things in small quantities just like fruit plus I don't like avocados anyway. Anything that is high in carbs, starch, or any kind of sugar I'm not allowed to eat much of. Plus I have to watch my salt intake as I have extremely high blood pressure, I'm on three different drugs for that.

  • @wayne1955 Ugh, hope that never happens to me. The thought of depending on fats/oils for the majority of my calories makes me sick.

  • @wayne1955 Have a look at the FAQ at foodnsport. Also Robby Barbaro improved his diabetes by eating this way.

  • @wayne1955 I actually doubt that quite strongly. While diabetes relates to difficulties processing carbohydrates, it's the very complex, starch like carbs that give those with the condition problems, not the simple sugars found in fruits. Dr. Morse here on youtube gives his diabetes clients a fruit diet, and they seem to recover from the condition, and other info I've found seems to further validate that. You'd have to do some personal experimentation though.

  • @swordsman1600 You may be right but I am going by what my Doctors tell me and they tell me that I can only eat a small amount of fruit each day due to the natural sugar in them. If I want some grapes I am allowed 8 grapes, or one small apple or a half of a banana. I love fruit but if I can only eat it in those amounts I'd just as soon not eat it at all. In such small quantities that's just enough to make you want more.

  • @wayne1955 Hi man, I was wondering what the cause of your diabetes is? Born with or overweight? type 1 or type2?

  • @superslave1984 I guess I inherited it as my father and all his brothers and sisters had it later in life as I wasn't overweight when I was diagnosed with it. I'm not sure which one I have but I have to take insulin injections twice a day. I hate needles, I'd rather be stabbed than have a needle stuck in me and it's even worse when I have to do it to myself.

  • @wayne1955 Umm, you don't really inherit diseases like diabetes... you might be at risk for the same diseases as your family members because your lifestyle, diet and overall circumstances are the same. But you can't blame it on family.

  • @thatfruitarianchick Well when my wife got pregnant her Dr. wanted to know if there was a history of any kind of disease in her family and she said her Dad had diabetes and he immediately checked her for it. My youngest sister was diagnosed with it a year ago now and my nephew (my brothers son) got it 9 years ago and he had an aunt and an uncle on his moms side that died from it. Not eating properly doesn't cause diabetes, if it did about everyone in the world would have it

  • @wayne1955 You're right. Not eating properly doesn't cause diabetes, or any disease in general. Virtually no disease has a single cause. Some people are incredibly lucky and can eat whatever @#$# they want, drink, and smoke and still live to a ripe old age and not need medications and retain all their original body organs. However, the point remains that poor diet is A FACTOR in the development of almost any disease (for instance, there are people with lung cancer who have never smoked).

  • @wayne1955 its a combination. The genetics set some people up with a pre-disposition for certain diseases. What you do during your life will decide whether that becomes an actual disease. The debate is simply what is the trigger for diabetes. The science points to too much total table sugar/HFCS in the diet because that is the only thing that has been increasing while the diabetes epidemic has been going on. Fat consumption is level or down(hard to know because cooking fat gets thrown away)

  • @drcldrcl The table sugar won't do it for me because I've never been big on sweets. I won't even eat pancakes with syrup because the syrup is so sweet I can't stand it. To this day if I eat chocolate I want the dark chocolate as milk chocolate is too sweet for me. My mom eats sweets like there is no tomorrow and she's 82 years old and according to her doctors she's as healthy as a 62 year old and no one on her side of the family has ever had diabetes.

  • @wayne1955 are we talking type 1 or 2 here? I have been referring to type 2. type 1 has nothing to do with lifestyle. That said people can also get type 2 without eating sugar its just not common and must have a different cause just like you can get skin cancer even if you stay indoors all your life. Some people are just genetically unlucky. Anyway with either diabetes I dont see how eating a diet that has a high sugar content is going to make it easy to control your blood sugar level.

  • @drcldrcl I have type 1 and I was perfectly healthy till I got it. I was 49 or 50 when it got me, can't remember exactly. I know I nearly died before I finally went to the Dr. and he tested my blood and sent me straight to the hospital and I was there for two days while they got my sugar under control. I a little less than a month I'd lost 45 pounds. This stuff isn't nothing to mess with.

  • @wayne1955 well low carb high fat is the way to go in my opinion if you want to keep Blood sugar stable. Dr Bernstein seems to be doing ok on it. I am on it and I'm not diabetic or overwieght(anymore). I am fascinated by this 80/10/10 thing though. Seems to work for a lot of people but I can't seem to find any science to explain why they dont get fat eating so much sugar.

  • @drcldrcl I have to watch the fat as I have high cholesterol, my thyroid gland does not function, I have high blood pressure in the extreme, I'm on two meds for that. Not only do I take insulin I'm also on two other medications for my diabetes. I'm just all messed up. The really sad part is that I was diagnosed with all this in just under a years time. It's like my health just went to hell in a hand basket for no reason.

  • @wayne1955 HDL cholesterol, triglyceride and BP all improve on low carb high fat diet.
