ATR fans are special people. Either you truly think they are one of the best bands to ever grace this earth or you just think it's noisy garbage, not much in between. For me, when I was a teenager punk and metal just weren't hard enough for me, so I kept searching for more extreme music and through all the crap ATR shined. This album I think is their best, but the new album "Is This Hyperreal?" is more accessible for new listeners, well as accessible as ATR can be really.

@Bauknecht88 With a sampler machine or computer, you can select a mere couple of milliseconds of a specific sound to repeat, and it will make that specific part of it sound glitched up for as long as you repeat it. For example, all extra tones you're hearing at around 2:55 are very, very short sequences of the drums that when repeated sound so close that our ears can't distinguish the beginnings or ends of them, making them sound like tones in and of themselves.
