Both of Gary's books are good reads and have the ring of truth. I never bought into the guilt trip of original sin anyway but the idea of carrying guilt in the unconscious mind from our perceived separation from God explains much. Oneness is real so by forgiving 'others' we forgive ourselves. Makes sense, bro!
i now am reading the book and am now in chapter two. i was reading yesterday night before i went to sleep and during the night i experienced something very beautiful. i suddenly was kind of like switched off from "our" world and the dark just turned into a great bright light (i was awake but had my eyes closed). i was totally aware of everything around me and it got freightened so i wanted to stop the light "taking over". i just "WAS". it was not a bad thing, but it still scares me ;-)
Amazing book....starts out alittle slow with alot of religious history (but I forgive you Gary) but once it got to meat and potatoes, I was blown away and laughed a whole lot. I am not sure ACIM would have been very helpful without his masterpiece. BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!!

I must admit, the first time I read the disappearance of the universe it scared me so much that I nearly had a breakdown. But now, anything any religion tries to tell me just is absolutely ridiculous. I know that I have finally found the truth. Now, i just need to try to apply it because I am still trying to learn forgiveness. Hopefully I'll get better at it over time because I'm kinda struggling right now ha ha.

No, but you're right, it sure does look like that! We just added the blue light behind Gary to add some nice visual contrast. But maybe we should make it a "regular" special effect for him....
Well, as revealed in his first book (DU), it is Gary who will become Pursah in his next lifetime; so Gary is actually visiting "himself" from the future, in that sense! The person who will be Arten in the next lifetime, is actually (in this lifetime) Cindy, to whom Gary was just recently married. So they are together in this lifetime as well as in the next, with a gender role-reversal thrown in -- just to keep things interesting. (Whew!) :-D

I read Gary's book and am now on the second one on your immortal reality. It is great and so easy to comprehend, INTELLECTUALLY; but it is only through practice that we can undo all the unconscious fear and hate and judgement deep down; that believing in the ego and the reality of attack from outside keeps us imprisoned under.
Another great book: the Poem of the Man God, (five volumes translated from the Italian) by Maria Valtorta. This book is also from Jesus and is really incredible!

My BAC mother is convinced each & every word is God's it makes me cringe. It's true about the 'can opener' analogy. One day, the bookshop I used to frequent stocked in both ACIM and the Disappearance of the Universe. I picked up ACIM but thought it was too heavy going, then I saw the title of Gary Renard's book on the shelf below it and was attracted to it, so read that, which made me desire to read ACIM.
I've read the can opener 3 times already and love every minute!!! Sometimes I have to look out of the corner of my eye cause I keep expecting someone dead as a dornail to pop up and have a chat with me!!
