  • It's amazing!

  • 1:19 This is the part when she saw the red lipstick on the mirror. That part was greatly disturbing.

  • 1:45 onward is intense! love it!

  • This was the movement for me in the score. Loved, loved, loved it! Perfectly encapsulates the film, the sheer romanticism and beauty combined with a lovely melancholy all with a sinister undertow.

  • ...aaaaaaand cue mental breakdown. :)

  • Makes me wish I still played the violin...

  • its like combing a mix feeling of excitement, and yet a foreboding anxiety all NINA written all over it. this piece is playing my emotions so true to heart it's disturbing.

  • ''mommy.mommy i did it! i made swan queen''

  • I just wonder

Why she have to die at the and of the movie?

But this is an amazing movie of course

  • Anyone know what excerpt from Swan Lake is used at the start of this track?

  • @sgwinstead1 it's from the fourth act of swan lake when all the swans are mourning

  • tick.

    tock.

  • que pelicula ♥

  • Thumbs up if you think The Black Swan should've won the Oscar Award for Best Picture.

  • @TheAngeloLorenzo I agree totaly. One of the best and most disturbing movies i´ve ever seen... I loved it.

  • If I recall, @1:45 begins the "piece of work mom" theme.

  • this video made me so depressed.... and i actually thought about this movie 2 days after watching it... which no other movie has stuck in my head like that... brilliant acting by natalie. also i think this movies intelligence requirement goes over my head because i didn't get it at all, haha, i thought, either she is has skitsofrenia or i'm retarded.

  • She did win Oscar, dummy, look at the official website

  • @tanvistarify dummy, that comment was posted 8 months ago before the oscar awards.

  • It'd be really considerate if people could include spoiler alerts in their comments.

  • When she cries in the bathroom when she go the swan queen it made me want to cry because I knew she died at the end. This movie is beautiful... one of my favorites

  • @HoldenCarrell i dont think SHE really dies, i mean, i think the director wanted us to see the white swan died, :)

  • @KittyTheKiller

she does die.... at the end she says i was perfect and then dies.

  • @HoldenCarrell you she as she dies but maybe that's not the truth, you just see blood on her belly and her whispers and thomas asking for a doctor, but it is not so sure that she died. That goes for interpretation actually.

  • @HoldenCarrell

It's true she said that she was perfect it was perfect- but you don't see her die. MY question is, did she kill the old swan queen? Because if she did survive she'd be going to either jail or the looney bin. And that makes me sad. D:

  • @Banisoup I don't think she killed Beth, the older Swan Queen. I guess, it was a hallucination, just like the others.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 she actualy had an extreme case of schizophrenia and paranoia ... i love the last part when she was the black swan GOD DAMN it was perfect!!

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94

Well, but when she's in the elevator she's holding with pick thing and her hands are covered in blood. So either yes, it was a hallucination like the rest, or she killed Beth.... But I like to think she didn't. c:

  • @Banisoup Yes, we see, that she holds the nail file in her hands, but what if it's a hallucination too? By the way, I think, if she would kill Beth, the company would talk about it, or, at least, about Beth's death.

  • I would give so much to go back to the first time I saw Black Swan! It was just amazing! Absolutely breath-taking, and it never went over board on anything! There was a delicately balanced, perfect mix of horror and art.

  • Absaloutly the best movie I have ever seen...

  • The ticking is haunting!

  • She scarred me a lot... But the movie is amazing! :D I like it!

  • @Brenda69Temi Thats the point

if a movie don´t make anything with your feelings

    isnt a good movie.

    wathever is

    Drama

    Cartoons

    or Romance..

If you realy can feel anything for the caracter, you undestand the story

  • where can i find the music where she turns into the black swan in the movie

  • @OCIRELCNU I believe it's " a swan is born"

  • @OCIRELCNU yeah it is but its not exactly the same as in the movie. there is a loud explosion at the end of the dance in the movie

  • sheets?

  • i like black swan tis is a tramatic movi i love it

  • Does anybody have the violin part to this?

  • "Fill the chest with more than three hundred sighs,

when well levinho, loosens and floats. "

    Juani Angélica!

  • it. was. amazing.

  • I love that, it is THE film of the year !!! :D <3

    <3<3

  • Haha, I've read our comments back, and it's funny, we have so many thought about this movie :) I spoke with a lot of people about it, and everybody had different opinion, everyone had an own version to explain the scenes. I've never seen a movie like this, not just interesting, but after the watching, you begin to thinking about the details, and you find out, that every scene has an important role. No doubt, it's a perfect movie.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 That sums it up - every detail is important, not just put there by chance. That really separates it from other work, it's a very special class of film.

  • 4 people where jelous she got the swan queen role o-0

  • What do you think, who wrote "Whore" on the mirror? Beth or Veronica?

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 lol NINA wrote it, did you watch the movie?

  • @robcunn Really? I saw the movie 2 times, but I don't remember...

  • @robcunn Do you see her do that or is it another one of he crazy Forget-I-Did-It moments?

  • @BluTacBitch We can't see it in the movie, that's sure.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 Good question . . . I'm leaning towards Veronica, but it would be interesting if Beth did it.

  • @elginxxxman Well, Beth called Nina "whore" so it would be logical, that she did it. But I'm already not sure in this. Nina stole Beth's red lipstick, and then, "whore" is written on the mirror with a red lipstick. So, now I think, maybe Nina did it, i.e. the black swan in Nina.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 Yeah, the tie with the lipstick doesn't really allow for it. I'd still like to think that Veronica did it - for her to be doing things against herself already would be too extreme in my opinion, Veronica being the culprit would be more realistic for me. It doesn't lessen it for me, but I think that it's too early in the film for her to bedoing things herself, the hallucinations seem enough.

  • @elginxxxman Yes, it's right, maybe it was too early. Well I think, there isn't a good answer to this question, there are so many ways to construe this movie. Maybe Veronica wrote it, maybe not, I don't know. But it's okay, above all this is an amazing movie.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 Yes, agreed. It's so amazing, and it demonstrates that ambiguity can be much more powerful than suspense. Most 'thriller' movies throw you for a loop, and once you've seen it and know what happens it loses its effect. Black Swan shows you almost everything as it happens (albeit through the eyes of a psychosis ridden protagonist), but the ambiguity is haunting, and you start questioning everything you've seen. Haha, all conversations about this movie end in praise!

  • @elginxxxman Yeah, 'cause it's a really good movie :D Especially for me, because I dance ballet, well, I'm not a professional dancer, but when I was a child I wanted to be a ballerina so bad. Unfortunately I was not flexible enough. Now I dance just as a hobby, and I still love the ballet, but now I'm 17, so I'm a little bit out of age to become a professional dancer. By the way, excuse me for my mistakes, my English is not very good :)

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 I dance as well, currently, and I do ballet training to prepare for pole dancing - which I think is just as gruelling and difficult if it's done properly, where it involves and is seen as an actual non-sexual artform. For me, the only difference between a ballerina and a pole dancer are the shoes. Dance is such a fulfilling thing. I haven't spotted any mistakes in your English, I wouldn't worry about it. :)

  • @elginxxxman Wow, pole dancing, that's cool :) Yes, I think, every dance is difficult, if you make it seriously, but dance is a wonderful artform, good for the body and for the soul. By the way, I have an another question. So, in the movie, it seems like Thomas has been in love with Beth, then with Lily, and well, perhaps with Nina. But I've read on a forum, that maybe Nina has just imagined, that Thomas is sleeping with all of the ballerinas (because of her paranoia). So, what do you think?

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 I definitely think he'd sleep with all of them if he had the opportunity, so I wouldn't doubt it happening. However, I think with the way Nina was seemingly brought up and the current way she approaches things, anything sexual seems quite intimidating and she'd be in an obsessive denial over it, like she wants to be when he first starts coming on to her, if you will. I personally believe he probably was taking advantage of as many as he could.

  • @elginxxxman Well, I'm sure, that he had a relationship with Beth, because he called her "my little princess". But I think, he didn't love her. And Lily...hmm, that's more difficult for me. I have a feeling, that Thomas hasn't slept with her, I think it was just a hallucination. And Nina...well, maybe he could love her, 'cause she was other than Beth or Lily. They were "Black swans" and maybe Nina was special for him. I think, at the end of the movie, he really loved Nina.

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 I don't know if there was any love involved, and I don't think it implied he had slept with Lily, though like I said before, I think he would have if the opportunity presented itself! Yes, I think anybody would have been interested in Nina, and I can see how her innocence would be so appealing to Thomas, just so that he could relish taking it, or trying to coax a dark side out of her. I think his history wigth Beth was obvious, other than that, it's Nina's worries.

  • @elginxxxman Woops, I wrote the last comment for you, I just forgot to address it :)

  • @LittleLovelyGirl94 I think Veronica wrote it. Nina didn't know she had the role, so she congratulated Veronica instead. Then Veronica comes back all pissed because she see's that Nina got the role instead and thought she was trying to play a sick joke on her. I'm also not sure how or why Nina's dark side would write it, unless the dark side was implying the fact that she originally came in looking all pretty for Thomas, hoping she'd get the role.

    CONFUSING, YES?

  • Piękne!!

  • Piękne!!

  • nice movie

  • WHORE!

  • Nina! Congratulations!

Ho it's a beautiful film, I love it!

  • three persons weren't the new swanqueen xD

  • I loved this movie, and the acting was great. When she came back home after she thought she wouldn't have the role, she told her mother she was fine and just as she said that she burst into tears...and some other moments like this, I think it was amazing because, I don't know for you but I react the same way when I'm feeling bad. And the look on her face when she wants to cry...wow, everything seemed so real! I'm usually not impressed by the crying scenes in movies but this movie...woah!

  • 1:17 it's when she sees WHORE written in the toilet mirror after calling her mum to tell her she's the swan queen. exxelent change of the sound from a happy one to a sad and terrifing one.

  • i love it soo Much ♥

  • Aww this was the cutest thing when she found out she was the Swan Queen and everyone was congratulating her and she called her mom. And omg, when she called her mom, her acting was phenomenal.

  • @ilmp44 totally agree! that scene when she was in the bathroom stall was the whole reason i looked for this piece!

  • I enjoyed this movie so haunting and mysterious BUT this movie just brings on so many negative stereotypes of ballet so that really pissed me off.

  • who's the composer or artist of the song?

  • @BigAssSnickers1

    Clint Mansell

  • @BigAssSnickers1 I believe it's Clint Mansell.

  • And the oscar goes to.... the exquisite Nina sayers

  • jadooore à 0:13

  • this film and its music is breath taking! that 1 dislike is uncultured and eats turd!!!

  • 1:19 WHORE

  • one of the best movies!!!

    AMAZING!!

    I <3 U Natalie!

  • yes, the same thing happens to me, I do not know why I like this song so much!!!! I think because it is the esence of this film!!!!

  • I can't believe I'm such a creep. I don't why I enjoy this song so much haha!

  • congrats, natalie! the oscar is yours!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so happy she won the Oscar. She deserved it very much. Talented young girl, excels at capturing the audience with pure and raw emotion.

  • Perfect Blue

  • I think the movie is phenominal but I hated it...I have never felt more unsettled by a fantastic movie before in my life

  • @WeaponXXIV Isn't that a funny prospect? Hating a masterpiece; I felt the same way. I'll never watch it again, even though I give it a high rating.

  • @WeaponXXIV Felt exactly the same way. Took me at least one week to stop thinking about it before going to bed ! =) I don't know if I hated it, but Im sure I'll never watch it again !

  • I'M THE SWAN QUEEN!!!!!

  • @milockis Stabs you with a glass shard "IT'S MY TURN!"

    haha.

  • @milockis pfft you wish.

  • ah you gota love spamers -.- anyways best film 2010 by far. just watch on cinema last week and god after the movie ended everyone just stood there no one moved for like 6m just watching the credits in some kinda of transe never seen anything like it. natalie portman delivered the performance of her live 5*

  • She's very happy then sees WHORE on the bathroom mirror. Very sad scene.

  • @BebeLush2 she wrote "whore" on the mirror, people with this mental problems do things like that

  • @BrvnoMagnaterra Wow, that was really early on. I always thought she started out normal and gradually lost it more and more as she became the black swan. But if what you say is true, it means she was always unsettled. Now I'll have to go back and look for even earlier indications of it.

  • @BebeLush2 with Beth's lipstick

  • Amazing piece of art. Love it! :)

  • got shivers when she comes out as the black swan

  • She looks awesome

  • Masterpiece.

  • I loved the movie and I really enjoyed the music :) thanks

  • I love it!!! :O

    I'd watch Black Swan everyday!

  • The black swan is what i like to call perfection : The storyline , The acting , The soundtrack/music , etc, simply said , everything completes eachother . Beautiful but yet so haunting ... And i really hope Natalie Portman wins the Oscar , she deserves it the most , i will be cheering for her !

  • @TheTruthSeekerTTS And win, she did! Great job, Natalie!! :D

  • @TheTruthSeekerTTS

With all the damn work and effort she put into that movie? She better win a damn Oscar!

  • @TheTruthSeekerTTS I became a fan of Natalie Portman after this movie. She was perfect hahaha.

  • @TheTruthSeekerTTS

    Of course!! Totally Agree

  • @TheTruthSeekerTTS so true! even it wasn't her the real dancer!

  • there was a scene at the beggining of the movie i think its when mila and natalie are practicing , it is a piano piece its so beautiful but not on the soindtrack :(

  • this movie gave me goosebumps at many scenes lol

  • So bright and beautiful, yet so dark and distructiv

  • @JudygarlandRulez15 i thought the same thing about district 9 and it's "best motion picture" nominee. but maby the accademy isn't going to be mainstream this year.

  • Can someone please tell me what instrument comes in at 1:46 and also at 2:01. They've been haunting me!

  • @PeaceOfReSpekt I could be dead wrong but they sound like french horns.

  • @PeaceOfReSpekt I think it might be the bassoon, if you're talking about the low sound.

  • Brilliant

  • this soundtrack really is excellent. It really makes you feel attatched to what you are listening too.

  • I loved Natalie in this film

  • The movie was amazing!!

  • @TheATLReporter More than amazing !! :D

  • The soundtrack to this movie is amazing!

  • Great soundtrack for a great movie

  • Masterful arrangement of a classic...brilliant!
