  • forget about the lock ill take the hole thing lol. Cool case paul i like it.

  • what should I build in this awesome case?

  • @SuperNuclearDeath a computer

  • - Credits -

    Camera: Danny

    Editing: Kyle

    Lazy Susaning: Paul

Also Wanted His Name Here: Mr. Lam

  • Whit is SOOOO sexy.

  • It comes with a hat??? 5:54

    SOLD

  • Truly amazing.

  • yuck

  • Looks like plastic overkill to me...

  • i have black version and that top led strip is not a led strip its just coloured

  • "Pretend my hand AREN'T there. This is just spinning..."

  • Honestly, i actually like these types of cases, and the phantom cases. they look really futuristic, pretty good cable management, and most of the time, highly customizable :). just my opinion though, so if you disagree, i really don't care

  • The bottom of the case looks like R2-D2's feet.

  • Looks terrible...Its probabaly a great chassi it just looks rly bad

  • i got the thermaltake xaser III aluminium supertower and boy is it great, its so shit that they dont make them any more

  • the white one reminds me of storm troopers :S

  • I'm such a nerd... I actually liked to watched this till the end even tho i have no money to buy it!

  • Chunky cases are ugly.

  • either his hands are small or that case is fucking huge

  • i haz the V4 lol....

  • This thumbnail was so wrong

  • I wish they'd make a green Yoda version

  • it's just so ridiculous that some of these cases costs more than a cpu!!!

  • @wmw0702 too true!

  • I own 2 TT cases, one is the Xaser III aluminum and the last one was a Xaser VI 4000 aluminum. The Xaser III has been flawless but the 140mm fans in the VI are crap. I've replaced 2 of them twice due to seizing up. I now run Aero Cool Shark 140's.

These are big cases with lot's of room ... they can be cheap in manufactoring ... screws etc.

  • is paul sick?

  • This is the gayest looking case I've ever seen!

  • Am I the only one that thinks "Storm Trooper" when seeing the Snow edition's visuals?

  • @82gmac Lol thats the first thing my bro said when he saw the case... "It looks like a Storm Trooper"!!! xD

  • @82gmac well maybe. you might have been the only one thinking storm trooper, but i guarantee i was the only one who asked "Why in the hell would they even MAKE a white case in the first place?" Well maybe a few others asked that, but I like to think into the future and consider that this would probably look ugly as shiiiiiit. But the black one is nice though.

  • @dumbgitme I have 7970 not 3970 :D

  • @justibisnotfag He's talking about your processor. The 3960X uses LGA2011. The motherboard is LGA1155.

  • would the snow case turn a horrible yellow smokey colour after time like the sony fs series laptop and white mac books?

  • @lionhart3001 they turn dirty because they are picked up and handled so much, so unless youre planning on moving your PC constantly, it shouldnt discolour

  • @dumbgitme thanks for the reply i dont know weather to go for this or the coolmaster haf X

  • can this huge case handle this? AMD RADEON HD 7970 INTEL CORE I7 3960x extreme WINDOWS ULTIMATE 7 Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866MHz 32GB CL10 Corsair SSD Force Series 3, 60GB, SATA 6 Gb/s (SATA3.0), 525MB/490MB/s read/write, SandForce® SF-2200 Seagate Barracuda® 7200.12 1TB SATA 6Gb/s (SATA 3.0), 32MB Cache, 7200RPM, 3,5" Antistatic arm chain, 1,8m. BW-106BL-L4 Black DVD±RW burner Chieftec Nitro Series BPS-1200 1200W PSU ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z, Socket-1155
  • @justibisnotfag no, because the 3960 uses a different socket to that motherboard, but the case will be able to handle that, pretty much any case could asd long as you have enough fans

  • What you don't hear much about is that the white colored surface is achieved via a scratch resistant plastic injection coating process. I like it! Check out my channel and take a look at my build titled "Project SNOW EDITION i7 2600K" using the Level 10 GT Snow Edition case.

  • Haha, black edition.... and uhh snow edition. Yeah its not a white edition, its a snow edition.

  • @neffuss1988 i was thinking tge EXACT same thing its sooo cool nice case

  • The white one reminds me of a Star Wars Stormtrooper.

  • looks like you can put dual 120mm fans at the top? True or not? Because you rushed through this...

  • I just got the black one, i noticed on the front, the audio jack gives alot of feedback. This happens when i plug my iphone into one of the front usb's, its like the usb's are connected to the jacks. Wtf shit.

  • i got that black edition last thurstday, very cool case but heavy

  • I honestly think it's pretty ugly.

  • Used this case in my recent build "Project SNOW EDITION i7 2600K". to see this TT case in action, visit my channel.

  • what would you call that accessory exactly that they use for the hard drive...because Multi Serial ATA power cable does not seem to work well with narrow searched...nor does using the word splitter

  • Goddamn Paul you look so damn sexy standing next to those cases.

  • this question will sound idiotic, but its been biting at me since seeing this case. I'm quite interested in making a gaming rig so I've been searching up information. Let me see if i have this right, those 5 hot swap bays house sata hard drives correct? and each space can contain 1 3.5" sata hard drive, so essentially you could buy 5 one tb hard drives and plug them all in to the bays and have 5 tb of storage space? and would it be a waste to use only one 1 tb hard drive when you have 5 bays?

  • @lxXxwateverxXxl:Those hot swappable trays/bay make an excellent and easy way to easily remove a faulty storage device in RAID configuration and replace or add a new one. Those trays not only help the RAID users but make it easier for the average user to add another storage option w/o going through the hassle of opening the case and route cables. The trays can hold 3.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs without needed adapters. Being a waste is a matter of opinion, tech level, and fiscal ability.

  • I used to watch porn.. then this case shot an arrow to my penis...

  • Do the cases come with those nice black shrouds? The big black bag-thing that are on them at the beginning.

  • but... will it play porn?

  • @fuhdenden u dont need porn when u got THIS case :)

  • Since he's reviewing the Snow Edition, I had to turn on the Google snow effect so I could see snow while looking at the Snow Edition.

  • I WANT IT SO BAD BUT IT COSTS SOOOO MUCH :(

  • @idontknowshutup65 i just ordered a refurb from thermaltake for $149 + shipping. i wanted to get it before Christmas, but they are taking forever to process the order. ordered on 12-19-11 and it still hasn't shipped :-(

  • This case is better bro but the nzxt is good to

  • should i get the nzxt phantom or the thermaltake level 10 gt?

  • This guys voice really pissed me off !!

  • Will this white case turn white after a while?

  • I notice the read exhaust holes don't have filters. This probably isn't an issue when the computer is on and is actively blowing air out, but when the computer is shut off (or at least in a deep sleep) isn't there a risk of dust getting in through the back?

Or... is that what those big black sleeve bags are for, the ones we saw at the beginning do they come with the purchase?

  • @PTNLemay don't worry about dust lol -.- Buy a dust free chassi if you're freaking paranoid. Take your vacuum cleaner once a YEAR <- yes YEAR, and you'll be fine.

  • @SelfrotDnBFreak

That hasn't been my experience, dust always finds a way in when there aren't filters. And if I start to fill my build with expensive stuff I want to keep the risks as low as possible.

Some of the dust really gets stuck in there, where a simple vacuum pass won't cut it.

  • @PTNLemay I've had a Compac with a total of 2 fans, no dust.

I've had a crappy Dell which I cleaned once a year from small amounts of dust.

I've had 3 brands which I can't remember the name of which are all almost dust free after a year or so.

I don't see how people like yourself can have a problem with this, I mean it doesn''t vary from person to person it's how you handle it. And my comps have all stood on the ground with bunch of clothes laying ontop, beneith it and next to it, and: no dust

  • @SelfrotDnBFreak

You must vacuum more than I do, because I pop my case open about once every 3 months and I see rings of the stuff accumulating around the fan's enclosure and in the corners of the mobo. I'm not too worried about it affecting my current components because I'm just using a 400$ pre-build, but when I start to get serious about my rig, I'm going to want dust protection.

  • Newegg, are you allowed to give us a warning for when items are about to run low on stock? Or at least tell us when they're not? I really want this case, but I think I'll only be able to afford it after Christmas. I don't want to log in by January only to see "Out of Stock" next to it.

  • Hi

The handle supports the weight when pc is full with hardware?

  • How much will it cost when it is fully functional? Please answer :)

  • @bobbylly thanks mate.

  • How do you put in a SSD Drive in it?

  • @beninchurchil in the floppy compartment.

  • Will this fit the new 2011 Socket MoBo's ? And SLi 590's ?

  • Getting this case tomorrow

  • How much would every thing cost when it's fully functional?

  • How much would the hole cace cost with every internal components installed?

  • @RoboVT102 an arm a leg and your house lol

  • I'm assuming this can accomodate a dual rad e.g. from the Corsair H100 where the top 200mm fan is?

  • @Tubz84 Yes it can...I'm gonna do a push/pull config on one of these...

  • @Tubz84 Did you ever find an answer to this?

  • @Krieger91 It can accomodate one yeah, if you look at 4:11 you can see the gaps either side of the 200mm fan where the radiator will mount.

  • wth $200 dat b over priced.

  • *Drools*

  • Oh my GOD that thing is fucking ugly. But I guess it's good at was it need to do. That's what matters... right? RIGHT?!

  • @OsirisNO Why the fuck should a chassi look good? It's all about quality. I don't give a shit if my chassi would look like a big square without LED lights as long as it's good.... It's all additions and this chassi is definitelly a quality chassi, 3, YES THREE, 200MM fans + 3 installable 140mm ones, more features to hold cables organized than any other chassi. I would say; buy buy buy.

  • @SelfrotDnBFreak Oh I totally agree. Quality > looks... But there is a limit. And this "thing" would never be in my house, ever. I love my simplistic Fractal Design Define R3 mid tower case. Perfect airflow, yet elegant looks.

  • I have the snow edition, its fucking amazing.

  • Gah, so sexy! Do want.

  • Corsair obsidian 800d is way more nicer case

  • @difsthlm not even CLOSE to as good airflow though.

    and not as sexy

  • @TonysTactics at the airflow well yes, but it's meant to be watercooled.

  • GUYS IF YOU WANT THIS GO TO NEWEGG RIGHT NOW IT'S ON SALE $200!!!!!!! im gettin one today :D

  • thermaltake should make level 10 microATX case

  • @newegg should I get the level 10 gt snow edition or the cooler master haf 932 btw nice video

  • Holy crap, I'm now seriously reconsidering my case option for a custom PC build. was looking at the LANboy air, but this may take the prize (probably snow edition. its just so much sexier aesthetically than the black steel)

  • I know there are probably a lot of cheaper cases that can do the job just as well... but damn... those filters, that hinged door, and just that incredible look, I want to spend that extra cash on it.

Also, really... the price drop was huge from the original Level 10. 700$? NO thank you! But ~300? Definitely do-able.

  • Comment removed

  • Holy... is this guy kinda short, or are these things really that huge?

  • @PTNLemay

They're full tower cases, which are usually 2 feet tall and sometimes even larger. So yeah, they are that huge.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LOSE THE KEY?

  • @lekgolo800

Agreed... it's a nice option to have, but I hope those keys are the kind you can copy and make lots of spares, otherwise that thing is staying unlocked.

  • Thermaltake screwed up with the initial design of the case because they used actual USB connections instead of a single multi-pin header for the front panel USB 3.0.

  • Free shipping in the Newegg US but not Newegg Canada. I'd much rather travel across the city to Memory Express to buy this case than to pay $52 for shipping.

  • @Snapscape NCIX?

  • great review, but at 8:25 I wish you would have shown the full range of the blades

  • Where is the Mexican version?

  • 05:54 Whoa! it has a cupholder!

  • Where's the craziness? The craziness that comes with Thermaltake products. I can't see it.

  • What is the size of the mother board Tray? i cant find it on the net

  • going to order this from our local shop, costs 400 buck thou. :/

  • I heard from some magazines that this case is not worth buying.... well god damn they are wrong!!

This case looks epic and it would look awesome as a gaming computer

  • This case looks like shit.

  • Does anyone know where I can order the Snow Edition from online (they have to ship to the UK.. hence difficulties finding one myself).

  • They took care of EVERYTHING :O

  • Snow edition ftw!!

  • These cases are awesome, I love newegg tv, so much good info.

  • this is one of the many reasons why i love thermal take

got a 700W PSU for $30 from newegg and it still goes strong and it makes 0 noise

and im going to save up for this beastly case

  • @lovethreesixteen $30? lol. Not for long....

  • @elegancewasmurdered lol shell shocker deal about a year ago

discontinued for some reason and still holds up for me and the reviews said they had theirs running nicely for a couple years

  • @elegancewasmurdered AAAANNNNDDD it was thermaltake :]

  • Ohhhhhhhh babbbbbbyyyyyyyy!!!!!!...........i wont lie though i personally dont like the lock and key function. Knowing me i would lose the key and be screwed

  • How does the hotswap hdd bay power connectors connect to the PSU? Is it all daisy-chained on one or two SATA power connectors?

  • Looks like it was modeled after a Borg cube

  • Greatest bloke ever why havent i seen him on the red carpets

  • but i do kinda like the white version though

  • i think those are some of the ugliest cases

  • Lol why the lock for the side panel. I couldn't see someone opening it up and stealing like the ram or something. Or the whole mobo. Just leave the expensive case.

  • Dat rice

  • ugliest case of all time.

  • The Star Wars stormtrooper called and wanted his suit back!

  • Love these case unboxings really really helpful for my upcoming and first build.

It's a little intimidating but your videos have helped a ton. Sigh I'll wait for bulldozer first and then decide and attempt the build.

  • Expensive, the snow looks much better than the pure black.

  • the way they lined up the in/outputs on the front remind me of a slim ps2 lol

  • the whitecase price is high then the black by almost 40.00 bucks more if the casese are the same why dose it cost more.

  • @eldoradodunn3 BECAUSE ITS MADE OF SNOW!!!!!

  • @eldoradodunn3 When you compare the two on newegg it looks like the black one is missing a fan that the white one has.

The black case specs on newegg says

    Optional 120 x 120 x 25mm Bottom Fan x 1 (Not include)

    The white case specs says:

    Bottom (intake): 120 x 120 x 25mm (optional)

  • I'm in love with the locking feature. I worked at a place where the hard drives were stolen regularly... I will be definitely getting a couple of these for my new business.

  • thermal tacky

  • I realize these are aimed at hard core gamers but they would make killer WHS cases...

  • more energy lol..

  • Didn't this used to be $700.00 bucks?

  • @Nokizara The one they are based off of still runs 700 dollars. Very nice looking cases.

  • yea i definitely want the white aka snow version for sure.

  • At 5:30 he is banging the case!

  • @farzshmarz who wouldn't bang this case?

  • @ApplesStudios... That would kind of make building a system in it moot. Imagine trying to RMA your gear afterward. "I'm sorry sir, but what happened with your Motherboard? I apologize but ASUS doesn't cover spew in the warranty." O_o

  • I really like this case....until I saw the price tag >.>

  • The thumbnail for this video looked like he was giving that case a good fingering.

  • @DrFweega lol it does.

  • It looks like R2-D2 on steroids.... Awesome!

  • Great review Paul, Thermaltake dose a really good job I think with there case's really well thought out. I have the A60 and the case just seems that well built and well designed. Also love that these cases aren't ungodly massive.

  • he removed that plastic film like nothing.... it takes me months to do that to my case ..

  • You have an awesome job, Paul.

  • I liked the little "Good job!"

  • ok um...seriously this review made me feel a bit racist. Ive seen tons of black pc cases but so few white ones...plus i think this case looks better in white. Thats just me though. btw no im not racist. Either way honestly ive gotten spoiled with the haf x. 6 drive bays or more but no less. Course thats due to the extra fan controllers and media lcds.

  • one of the first things I thought when I looked at this was... "it's going to be a pain in the ass to clean off the dust @-@;"

  • gotta say .. thats bloody ugly and looks like a 80's throwback

  • My friend has that case, it's epic and heavy as hell.

  • i thought the whole purpose of the level 10 case was to keep all parts separate from other components so that heat behind exhausted from say the power supply wouldn't be blown up into the graphic cards and what not, that's what the original case was made for. This just looks like a really expensive and weirdly designed case.

  • Both case Look nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • But why pay 250$ for only your case?

  • Newegg TV: Now introducing monotone Paul!!!!!

  • Wow, nice case. makes me wanna go and build myself a new rig

  • Since Paul is making the reviews I am quite happy coming to watch this channel. Really enjoy the touch of detail.

  • Paul Makes Me Love Newegg, Best Reviews And Tips . Feel Better .

  • I want this so badly my brain imploded on itself.

  • Comment removed

  • 399, just a bit more than the HAF-X.

  • lol, I'm searching components for my new computer and I switched motherboards because I didn't want a huge case in my room :)

  • Thumbnail looks like you're fingering the case XD

  • Barrel lock powers... ACTIVATE!!!

  • I wish they would do reviews of cases that didn't cost more than my graphics card...

  • I rarely like cases that are not black but that white one looked pretty good. Now just trying to figure out if a Corsair H100 cooler will bolt up to the top of that monster.

The large side fan doesn't look like it can be replaced? You know how much we like to load them up with smaller neon ones.
