Your relying on the minor muscles of you fingers a lot...they can only take so much work. try to even out the consistency between your finger control and wrist control

ok first of all, those are 2 totally different types of snares, this is a marching snare and metallica has a regular drum set snare. For a marching snare, this one sounds amazing.

Choking that far up on your traditional hand is broadening the already inherent tambour difference between matched right and traditional left. Your solo would probably be served greatly just by holding back a bit farther on your traditional hand. Great solo nonetheless.
