Will this work for the LG Optimus too? I recently fucked up my Optimus by deleting some vital files (it is rooted) and now I'm getting an android.process.media" error on it. Would this solve the problem?

When I flashed. my Market downloads are stuck on "Starting Download" more specifically when I tried to update apps that I restored from Titanium Backup. I went to Amon recovery and tried to fix UID mismatch and nothing, I dont know what to do,,, pls help

Hey man, you seems to be very active with the HTC Evo / Android scene. Since Garmin is not available on the Android platform, and CoPilot pretty much sucks, would you happen to know of any other GPS apps for Android powered devices (preferably the HTC Evo), that utilizes the integrated GPS? A-GPS does not work well with my daily routes. Sometimes I get little to no reception. If you can, please let me know. Thanks.

@zedomax I hear ya but I think you're missing the point. Google Map works very well no doubt. But due to the fact that it requires constant internet connectivity to operate (aka A-GPS) its only as good as reception gets. In my daily route, I take alot of back mountain roads so I get no reception which means no internet connection, therefore rendering Google Maps useless. CoPilot can be used as a standalone GPS as it uses the built-in GPS instead of the internet. Well, thanks for you reply anyway

@fmesquad Why spend extra money on a standalone GPS unit when the Evo is in fact, a standalone GPS too? Besides, I do have 2 GPS unit - Garmin and a Raymarine, but my whole purpose is to get rid of extra baggage (in this case the GPS unit). Thanks for your advice but I've already solved my own question. Upgraded to CoPliot 8 Live. It gets the job done and is equivalent to, or surpasses most standalone GPS currently out there.

@MaPee1982 thats cool. i have stand alone gps in both of my vehicles... i just don't like the fact that if i get an important phone call or text i have to go out of the gps temporarily (even tho it runs in the back ground) to check my phone... i don't know if your just riding a bike or driving a truck or whatever but i do use my phone gps if im not in my own vehicle... the reception on my evo with the sprint gps is very good and the program is great w/o no bugs.

you said you need a better way, so here:

1. get a tripod

2. use screen capture for the shell stuff

3. CTRL+C CTRL+V is your friend (that way you don't drop files in the wrong place)

4. it's ok to cut and red- something if you mess up

Ok I got the SC card issue fixed by sawpping sd cards. Seems the stock sd card that came with evo has problems. Everything else seems to work fine but the camera but that is a known issue that everyone is working on I'm reading.
