I'm using Revlon ColorStay vs. #150 buff and I plan to go buy some MAC FIX Studio Fluid Liquid Foundation SPF15, which i have never try it before and Im going to order it online, and cant really tell which color will match my skin b/c there's alot of different colors so..i have no idea at all which color i should buy...so which color of mac studio fluid foundation you recommed me 2 try? @eg9vtec If you are near a MAC counter the best thing to do is get color matched or try to do a color comparison by "eye-balling" it - the good news is MAC will accept returns if you get the wrong color

@nikimeow try the ivory shade, or the next one up from ivory, but you are probably ivory.  I am also nc20, and I use the ivory shade in revlon foundation. If it isn't right for you, you can return it to the drugstore.

i just got my studio fix fluid today. i was worried that it wasnt going to be the right color, or that it would make the flakeyness around my nose and chin worse. and it didnt at all. It was a bit dark, but i mixed a tiny bit of a foundation that is too light. And it works so well. Im praying that my dad wont find out i bought it with his money and make me send it back!

well to make it even MORE biased I never use either of these techniques to apply my foundations I just got them both and wanted to try them out - I usually use my 187 - not like it matters though - rub it in with your fingers if it looks good in the end it can as biased as you want!

The older formula of Revlon Colorstay was a bit thicker. Now they have the Softflex, which they thinned out a bit. I've been using Colorstay for years...I had no idea it was a dupe for a Mac product until youtube!

she was born 3 weeks early so her lungs didn't get a chance to fully develop...she's had lung issues her whole life - ICU when she was 2 for a nasty virus and pneumonia that almost killed her and she has asthma. Dr's don't know anything - they all suck. Stick with what you like :)

I have both, and they both work great, I just like more MAC because I use less product, so, It lasts longer... but I apply both with the 187 brush, stippling on my face and neck, b/c I have scars and blemishes, I can achieve a better coverage without looking cakey. You could wet your blender sponge with water or fix+, it blends better and smoother and you probably would use even less foundation (the sponge wouldn't absorb so much...) thank you for this video! was really informative! x x x Thais

just look at the color choices and compare the bottle to your skin...sometimes you can just swatch it and if you can't do that get what is close (or 2 during a bogo) and mix to make your custom shade

revlon colorstay is amaaaaaaaaazzzziiiiiiiiiinnnnn­ggggg. my favorite foundation hands down. i work somewhere where im sweating almost all of my shift and this makeup stays on for hours and hours and hours. even after sweating so much it's still in tact! doesn't cause my skin to break out or anything either. its great guys try it out.
